A.J. Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Two really great (though often under-rated) water slides are the red and blue slides of Camelbeach's Triple Venom.
BlueFireCoaster Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I saw this photo a couple days ago and was trying to figure out where this water slide was located. Can anybody help? Looks pretty freakin' high to me!
Gerstlauer1 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 ^ It does looks high! But i really like how it looks to be steep in a long time, i mean many water rides like that is only steep a very little time and then they "straights out". This looks pretty nice, i would like to know the location too.
Olov Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Could be the brazilian slide Insano, which holds the height record for body slides, or at least it did when it opened. It's 41meters tall and you reach a speed of 105km/h before you slow down and splash into the pool. Beach Park
Angry_Gumball Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 ^ It is Insano. You can even see (barely) the words running along the slide...looks quite insane. It would probably take me a lot to get me up to that platform and down that slide!
GuruGuys Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I'm a sucker for the Proslide octopus racer's, or double down racers in general. Nice airtime on both drops.  Getting Some Air at SplashTown Octupus Racer  Fat racer (airtime!) vs. Not fat racer (not so much)
Gmaster562 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 These slides at Hurricane Harbor in Valencia aren't all that tall but they really pack a HUGE punch. Especially the one in the middle. I don't think i've gone so fast in that short of time on a waterslide!
atem122 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Voyage to the Center of the Earth at Waterworld near Denver. So much awesome theming!
tiger01 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Havn't riden it yet but I will soon! (The yellow one.) Â Â And also, 3 slides here sure do pack a punch, how ever small they look. Do not be decieved! Â Â Same park BtW.
Midgetman82 Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I got on Dragon's Tail for the second and third time last month. First time I rode it (earlier this decade, not used to speed slides yet), I hated it and vowed never to ride any speed slides. After giving it a second chance, I loved it enough to ride it again! The airtime slides that are made now don't seem to produce as much airtime anymore, probably because people can hurt themselves if they're not sliding correctly. Â Anyways, this is still the most intense water slide I've ever been on.
FLIPDUDE Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Saw this tody on 9gag and had to share it with you guys... This crazy bastard is in a hotel in Sicily: Â Â Â Â
the ghost Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Thats a unique take on a water park! Very cool!
Meteornotes Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 That is pretty cool looking, though the odds of me somehow injuring myself on something like this are incredibly high... Â dt
FLIPDUDE Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Wicked! any idea hotel? or how to find out?  città del mare Terrasini ( Palermo, Sicily in Italy)
alilstronger Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Â Â Â This is Mountain Scream at Dollywood's Splash Country. The green ones made me so dizzy!
Midgetman82 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) That blue slide looks cool, until you get to the last flume that dumps into the sea. I can't see the steps to climb back up anywhere! Â Edit: Nevermind, I see it! It is to the left of the last slide. It's in a dark corner and is hidden! Edited April 25, 2012 by Midgetman82
disneyfan1313 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Is it just me or do some of these slides at smaller parks and resorts seem to be just "built" and not engineered. I realize they *have* to be engineered on some level but they seem a bit more thrown together and scary!
deathbydinn Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 This new waterslide opening in the UK looks pretty awesome. Â Â Bowl slide and tornado all in one! Â http://www.themeparktourist.com/news/20120710/10023/center-parcs-elveden-forest-names-new-water-ride-tropical-cyclone
australianalex Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtj0cfx0C4Y Â This little slide on the Sunshine Coast may not look like much, but it is insane. What makes it insane is the absolute lack of safety! The turns are insanely tight and easy to injure yourself on, the first slide lands in a pool where everyone else waits for the second slide, making collisions inevitable and there are NO rules. You can go on your stomach, linked with friends, on your knees etc and the staff don't batt an eyelid.
Philrad71 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I was watching the extreme water parks show before Coaster Wars and have to admit that the slide Insano in Brazil definitely looks Insano!!! Holy Crapola!
JJLehto Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Its not one of those 100+ mega slides but I finally did a body slide at Hershey. I was worried about wedgie but that was fine, the landing was violent though! Going at a quick speed into that water at the end....WOW! I was blind, deaf, had water in my nose and one of my legs was going over a side. IDK how people ride those crazy huge ones.
donkeyman18 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Defiantly the rides at mountain creek none of them feel safe and half of them were just tarp over a hill! Loads of fun though!
rollin_n_coastin Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Any old school body slide that has more speed than thought or as you remember as a kid with airtime and a nice concrete pool to splash into at full speed for a full skin scraping experience  The first set of water slides I went on as a kid and they are still insane--the Kamikaze and Corkscrew set at Wild Water Works in Hamilton.  **Edit--Just checked their site and it looks like they ripped out the body slides recently and replaced them with two more raft slides  I guess body slides either considered dangerous in today's world or past their prime. I'll miss those out out of control rides.
XII Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 This is by far the craziest slide I have ever done. Being in that tube was an incredible experience.
