mordecai-75 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 the whole " stay tuned for more " at the end of the announcement video. you think that there could be something their still not telling us? like possibly a second launch. the price tag still doesn't click with me. Wild Eagle took alot of land work as well.
JonnyRCT3 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 ^I'd say more food options, and maybe a flat to compliment that area of the park with the new coaster.

Wild Eagle took alot of land work as well. I'm guessing they mean a full POV and some more concept art (like a pic of the station). If there was a 2nd launch we would've seen it in the first announcement.

I definitely don't think it refers to anything on the ride we haven't seen yet!
Brassinthegrass Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Yea, I'm not sure we will see anything change in the design of the ride, like the SFGAm Goliath lift changes... I'm sure we will just see the full POV and some theming plans and such, it's an easy way to keep the buzz going through the off season for the park.
DoinItForTheFame Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 If you're curious... No, Dolly will not be riding Lightning Rod, (as if we did not already know this.) Why?? She's scared she will lose her boobs!! I don't blame her, I am pretty sure the entire world would cry for her. Those are so amazing... "tourist attractions." https://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&fr=crmas&p=dolly+parton+scared+of+roller+coasters

KBrylczyk Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I was thinking to myself a few days ago that the launch into the first drop was kinda reminiscent of a certain set of Dolly icons. Schilke knows what he's doing. Even if we don't.
DoinItForTheFame Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Now that you all mention it... OMFG!!! I'M DYING!!!
alpengeist04 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I'm a little late, but I just had to chime in and say that this is as good as it gets when it comes to announcements. ...Can't wait to ride!!!!
blk_mamba Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 They are wasting NO time getting started on that ride. That quad dip drop is going to be amazing!
mordecai-75 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I read on here a while back that Dollywood reps had visited the Blue Fire coaster. Maybe there could be a dark ride like scene before the launch. That would account for more money, and just be quite awesome.
Nickstroberg Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 That Dolly-boob meme is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Thank-you.

They had great success with the fireworks scene on Firechaser Express, I could see something like that right before launching up the hill...

I could see something like that, or something similar to what Powder Keg at SDC has. How it has the theming around, and in the launch building.

A.J. Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 It looks like the coaster kind of just rolls into the launch.
mordecai-75 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 It looks like the coaster kind of just rolls into the launch. from the computer generated video, " digital fictional concepts and real life can bring together two very different visions ". i just truly believe there is more to this coaster then what we are seeing.
Vonni Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 ^ One of the best coaster announcements in recent history and you want more? This Coaster is going to be amazing, but yet so many are still not satisfied.
DoinItForTheFame Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 ^ One of the best coaster announcements in recent history and you want more? This Coaster is going to be amazing, but yet so many are still not satisfied. No one has said they are not satisfied. They are simply predicting how the coaster might be themed. We know that Dollywood themes the coaster really well, and they are just wondering if there will be any theming around the launch area. Which I don't blame them at all. Look at Firechaser Express, and Poweder Keg... They both have theming around launches.
