The funny thing is that all an Aquatrax boils down to is a basic coaster that just happens to be perched above the water, so provided that Manta does a low water swoop at some point I think we can deem it "Close Enough".

^I count it, but just once.

I count it eight times!

But, each train also has a different ride experience....

If Atlantis has 16 boats (aprox?) with 8 people per car, that's 128 credits.

Manta will have four 16 passenger trains, so that's 64 credits.

Pee-shaw, I've already ridden this coaster at IAAPA. It's pretty boring. All it does is sit in one place, forcing its riders to stare at a giant pink waterslide tube. The seats are incredibly comfortable though.

^The description of the ride is on the first page of this thread.

Manta also will feature a unique “launch station” where the passengers will start the ride enclosed in a launch tunnel with larger-than-life images of rays projected on a 270-degree enveloping screen. This stunning introduction to the world of the rays also will visually enhance the physical acceleration as the ride launches down the track. This state-of-the-art projection system will be the first of its kind in the United States.

^Love the sound of that. It helps make Manta so much more than just another coaster (and it already seemed somewhat creative to me). My interest is steadily increasing!

I truly am excited for this coaster. It looks like it will have some pretty good forces and, if the concept art holds true, it will have some great interaction with the walkways and landscaping. Not to mention those trains are going to be sexy looking

I was pretty skeptical about the ride, but these are some pretty tight transitions. I'm well convinced that there are going to be some nice air pops on this!

Go Mack...goooooo !!! I`m pretty excited that the US ist getting a ride with those stunning trains. And the layout looks promising, too.

Too bad I won`t be able to ride this anytime soon
