Two main gifts this year. I got a 4th Gen. Ipod Nano to replace my old one who had its screen cracked last year. I also got a Canon Powershot SX110 to again replace an old one that stopped working.

WOW very cool quilt/blanket! I need to start watching the sales racks at the parks... Dang, all those 5$ T-shirts at Geauga Lake that weren't my size last year would have made a cool quilt.

I got $1000 from my grandma. I was floored. So I saved that and worked a couple of weeks and got a MacBook

I also got $100 from my sister and $120 from my mom's friend Jack who might as well be family and 2 seasons of friends [My favorite show ever!]

I got an Xbox 360 Elite, Guitar Hero World Tour (full kit, ROCK ON!!!), and a model of a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. Not much, but it was enough to make me EXPLODE!!!

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

That is actually a lot compared to what a lot of people get.

Time to start 2009.

Here is what I plan to give

* a autographed "the duke" Jets football signed by the punter Steve Weatherford to my friend. My friend, Steve and myself all graduated in the same year in the same town. Steve went to a different school

*20 dollar gift card to Texas Roadhouse to my friends parents. 20 dollar gift card to a local grocery store to his sister. 20 dollar gift card to Old Navy to his sisters son. They always give me a nice present and have for years.

*I plan on getting my mom some of her perfume she uses. My sister will get something.

So far I have gotten:

* 15 dollars from a customer at my p/t job.

It's officially Christmas morning on the East Coast! So far my haul includes:

From fiancee: An EZPass (Delaware's version of the virtual toll payment system), engraved pen set, two sweaters, a jacket, gloves, some Jelly Belly jellybeans (because I raved about them after the West Coast Trip) and a three-day weekend at a mountain resort.

From boss/co-workers: $50, a hand-carved wooden pen, a gingerbread man Christmas ornament, and assorted homemade candies, cookies and other baked goods.

From friends: A gift card to Outback Steakhouse and a pre-packaged Betty Crocker "goodie" box.

From family: Two "Rockford Files" DVD sets; an "Early Edition" DVD set; a "Hidden Secrets of Disneyland" DVD; a "South of the Border with Disney" book; an autographed Wally Boag autobiography; a "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" book; various non-sports cards; Old Bay snack mix; candy; two pairs of pants; gift cards to Red Lobster, Chili's and a local Italian restaurant; and money to put toward my plane ticket for the UK Trip.

Remember, 'tis better to give than to receive... but receiving is a close second!

Among other awesome things, a (model of a) Delorean and a completely unexpected Nintendo Wii!

And, perhaps most importantly, a three-pack limited edition of Tim-Tams!
