Hate to take sides, but SFoG to the airport is fairly quick.  You are on the bypass the entire time and don't really get near the city.

With typical traffic, it's quicker from the airport to SFoG b/c it's just 285/20 than getting over to Fun Spot and all those back roads.

Yeah the airport is like 18 miles from the park.  I cannot fathom it taking an hour even on a busy day.  Unless they moved it to I4 lol.

Atlanta probably won't pose problems for construction, but I can't imagine this will open in spring. Late start plus I'm sure construction near the mini-golf course and arcade building will be a little difficult

Thanks for tips regarding traffic guys we land Thursday and planning six flags Friday and fun spot / Noah's ark  the Saturday before flying to Cedar point Sunday.  Don Atlanta a few years ago and did hit bad traffic one day even worse than LA for us lol.

Oh man, Atlanta is horrific if you try to get through town during rush hour.  Mind you, Atlanta rush hour is basically 6am-1pm then 3pm-9pm.  I remember in 2019 I was stage managing the Blackpink US tour and we were performing at the arena just outside Duluth, essentially caddy-corner to Hartsfield Airport.  We had to take I-85 straight through downtown and it took us three hours.  That's about 40 miles.  Atlanta sucks.

Looking at photos of construction site its going up pretty fast. lots of structure and track also on site. Place your bets will it be open when I'm  there on the 4th June?

personally its almost to close to call but RMC don't tend to take much time once ground work is complete.

I’d be shocked if this thing was open at any point during summer. September seems more likely.

I'd take that bet. I predict June.  Can't wait to get on it.

Looks like work is really getting started now.  That's all good stuff.

Wonder if they are shooting for July 4th weekend.  Would make sense, right?

I think they are still shooting for Memorial Day.

Probably won't make it but if RMC thinks they can make it, it's worth trying.

Still cannot believe that this kind of RMC is coming to a park only an hour away from me lol.

considering the winds we've had down here today, that's a heck of a feat.

Awesome! Seems like there is a while to go and tis already April, so I kind wonder if this will get open this year. I'm sure it will but maybe not till later in the season? Though I've been caught off guard before when a ride looks like a while to go then gets rapidly built. Regardless, patiently awaiting so I can book tickets for an Atlanta weekend lol

I love the quality coasters (in this case possibly top tier) coming to so many small parks!

Awesome job really coming together on the vid I watched. The parks boss said they have 100 undeveloped acres. Sounds like they have big or should i say HUGE plans!

I think a return trip to Atlanta is going to be needed. As 3 weeks is not enough time to finish this beauty.
