CanobieFan Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Reading YouTube comments on when I saw this: ProtagonistNonTheist3 months ago One time I was riding a ride with a big loop on it and at the top of the loop I fell out but luckily I fell back into the coaster when it reached the bottom of the loop. I fell right back into the same seat I fell out of. I was so lucky. This has 439 points on it. That's called airtime.
Sharman19 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Here's an argument from TPR's GateKeeper reverse POV video. Compare a Eurofighter with a wing coaster?
mike541x Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 The GP sure is on a roll with Youtube.... Comment made by "Coaster Master" Is the video not enough to show it's a sit-down???
OrlandoGuy Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 ^yeah, that's why he's saying he's surprised to see that in the video it was not a stand-up....nothing weird or dumb about that comment at all.
Sharman19 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Frrikin' hilarious! I didn't know SFNE was in the UK!
Desalia Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Hearing kids at school attempt to describe roller coaster is cringe-inducing. So a kid rode GateKeeper, and he goes something like "OMG, we were like soooooo close to the ground omg omg, we went upside like a million time and if a roller coaster doesn't go upside down then it SUX, IT'S NOT A GOOD COASTER UNLESS IT GOES UPSIDE DOWN! But my favorite was that blue one that goes like a billion feet in air LOL SWAG!" I don't even know where to begin with him.
Sharman19 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Well someone points out some comments about TPR's Thunderbird video. The list shall' go on forever.
VF15 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Was reading some Facebook comments about Goliath at SFGAm, and I found tons of GP gold... -"Good policy, I was decapitated on the Z-force the first day it was operating, wish I would have been as cautious as you" -"No thanks too many death's from faulty rides at that theme park." -"Riders for the sake of your loved ones please take out a great life insurance policy on your self.. so your loved ones are not stuck with the high cost of funerals..." -"Death Trap in the making!!!! Look at what happened on the super man ride. With Chicago winters cheap wood splinters! Why wood wayy cheaper to build. It will take several deaths law suits to shut it down. Cost is cheap to build wood one. money making death trap for uneducated humans" -"A all wooded ride, that is at the altitude of moister, ok, it will not last til the next day if it rains, plus it sounds like a death wish or a suicide mission" -"there is no way in the world I'd be stupid enough to ride a wooden roller coaster that flips upside down... Give me a 1000 ft steel coaster.. All day every day.... Wood? No thanks" -"I just told my best friend mark the day I said it it's ganna all types of wrongs ... These people always trying to go bigger and better IN REALITY YOU GO STUPID AND DEADLY !!! Final destination ABSOLUTELY !!!" These comments are seriously making me fear for humanity.
KingRCT3 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 *Apply acid on eyes to forget what I juste read*
tatsu_dude Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The fourth one down is the worst. Someone needs to rethink who they're calling an "uneducated human."
Uriel Galindo Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 On a math text book it said that Dodonpa is the tallest roller coaster in the world and that its 1500 ft high when it's actually 171 ft high and now everyone in 8th grade think thats true.
Sharman19 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 On TPR's Facebook. This makes me cringe so bad!
YoshiCraft2011 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I can't explain how stupid this comment is. Really? It's still going to be the tallest in the world.
Sharman19 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Found on a video of Millie recreated on Scream Machines. It is called a Giga beacuse it was made by Intamin? WTF?
Projektion Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 It is called a Giga beacuse it was made by Intamin? WTF? I think you misread that.
Sharman19 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 It is called a Giga beacuse it was made by Intamin? WTF? I think you misread that. Yeah. But I think he has Goliath mixed up with Millie.
screaminkid2005 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 It is called a Giga beacuse it was made by Intamin? WTF? I think you misread that. Yeah. But I think he has Goliath mixed up with Millie. Maybe not, he might be talking about Goliath at Walibi Holland. Both coasters are made by Intamin AG and have the same style of track.
tatsu_dude Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 From TPR's Switchback animation video: Last time someone rode on a wooden roller coaster in Texas a accident happened that involved death. And it was because the track went on the side, never am I trusting a roller coaster like that unless I'm safely locked in.
Diamondbacker27 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Found on a video of Millie recreated on Scream Machines. That doesn't really belong here
Sharman19 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) Here is some REALLY juicy GP goodness. From TPR's Facebook about Skyscraper @ Skyplex. Edited November 20, 2014 by Sharman19
Projektion Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 ^The top 2 I would say don't belong here.
VF15 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I was just watching a coaster/park TV show called "All-American Amusement Parks", and this woman and the host on the show said that Twisted Typhoon at Wild Adventures (A standard Vekoma SLC) has seven inversions. sigh...
GCI Wooden Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 ^ Why can't we get decent theme park shows without the GP coaster enthusiasts? TPR should make a TV show!
