mikeykaise Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Did you remember to set your phasers to fun before leaving the station?
cfc Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Did you remember to set your phasers to fun before leaving the station? Â They had a phaser setting for any situation. Â
robbalvey Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 And if you want crazy, look no further than the "Voodoo Jumper" ride!
boldikus Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed this entire report/thread and as usual love all the new video footage you've been cranking out recently. Keep it coming!!!!!
Canobie Coaster Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Great video! I think the rider cam caught the insanity of the ride pretty well.
Hilltopper39 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I can't imagine riding that thing after a few steins, would have to go on it before visiting the tents.
SharkTums Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 (edited) I don't care what kind of ride it is, any flat ride that spins for over 5 minutes is going to be insane! Â Heck, if you put me on a stupid Pirate Ship for 5 minutes I would throw up! Edited October 19, 2017 by SharkTums

Philrad71 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 That looks pretty damned intense to me...and it looks like a ton of fun!
Pear Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 How dare anyone criticize the beauty that is Voodoo Jumper. I rode it in August and it was incredible and insanely fun. It's now one of my all time favorite flats.
bert425 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 that's the kind of ride that I would stand and watch for a while (the lighting package is amazing). Â I'd ride it, but definitely before any eating or drinking anything
cfc Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I'm not a flat-ride person, but I gave this one a try. Is it crazy fun? Yes! Will it make your stomach hate you for a while afterward? In my case, yes! (A nice brew at the Beer Carousel later helped.) Â Even if you don't ride, it puts on a crazy show.
Nrthwnd Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I would love to ride that! Â ...about 20 years ago.
MicrosoftExcel Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Great content! These windows into your trip are such a treat.
Alice Kane Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I don't care what kind of ride it is, any flat ride that spins for over 5 minutes is going to be insane! Heck, if you put me on a stupid Pirate Ship for 5 minutes I would throw up!  YES! YES! YES! My greatest nightmare is finding myself on a flat ride that spins and bops......and noting that the ride operator is moving off for a cigarette break! (And yeah, pirate ships are nasty too.....ain't no Dramamine strong enuf!) I delight on riding any roller coaster, but have bid a baby boomer farewell to most flat rides. Sad  Alice
bert425 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 ^^ Â HAHAHAHAHA Â Â if they wanted it to really be "themed" they should have the cars set up as enclosed glass showers. Â Â "fart hole" indeed! Â Â Â (tho other than the unfortunate name, that looks like it was a ton of fun to ride!).
Jason Maier Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Was the Fart Hole . . . a gassy experience
robbalvey Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 We took our final rides on Eurosat during our Oktoberfest trip!
bert425 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Nice!  and how fun they ran it with the lights on for y'all.  I giggled when I saw they "themed" it with pumpkins inside, even tho the outside is a GIANT pumpkin  looks like a fun family coaster, and glad you got to get in a last ride while there. Did they happen to say what kind of coaster they are going to be installing? (wondering if it will keep the spiral lift, or if they pull that out, they might go for a launched indoor looper, ala Rock and Rollercoaster.  y'all do the best trips!
jray21 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 This looks like it was such an amazing trip! One day I'd love to hit Oktoberfest with TPR!

And they're keeping the spiral lift
robbalvey Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 "Ten... Nine... Time to crash!" There is something about this line that makes absolutely no sense to be, but yet I LOVE it!!!
