  1. Great photos, Jason! Yukon Striker looks amazing. Can't wait to get up there and ride it this summer.
  2. Thank you guys so much for saving our results from last year! Made this year's poll a breeze.
  3. There is something about this line that makes absolutely no sense to be, but yet I LOVE it!!! If they keep one element from the old Eurosat in the new re-vamped version, it should be this line. (Can't wait to see what they do with the ride!)
  4. It's Number One, it's Top of the Pops, it's... a Volare! Desktop Screenshot (Oct. 29, 2017)
  5. Thank you Robb, Elissa and TPR for one hell of an awesome trip! I already wanna go back and do it all over again. PROST!
  6. I use Instagram most - I'm on it multiple times throughout the day. I use Facebook less frequently, am not as actively engaged with it as I am with Instagram.
  7. 1. Instagram - I use this most frequently. I post, I like, I comment. I think I usually see 100% of the content in my IG news feed. 2. Facebook - I'm on here at least once or twice a day. I post, I like, I comment. Most of what I post is copied over from my Instagram account (and I sometimes post stuff on IG that I don't share with FB). I spend far less time on FB than IG; I would guess I probably see about 40% of the content in my FB news feed. (I have TPR marked as "see first," so you guys *usually* show up near the top of my news feed.) 3. YouTube - I watch videos on YouTube. I don't think I have an actual YouTube account though - I don't leave likes or comments here. And I don't use any other forms of social media.
  8. The mazes look great! The This Is The End house alone makes me seriously wanna take a trip out to L.A. this fall...
  9. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) A) Computer: I never selected a setting. Some videos auto-play (including many of TPRs); some don't. B) Mobile Device: Not sure, it's been a while since I looked at Facebook on my iPhone. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? I don't share often, but I have on occasion. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) I have shared photos and videos. 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? Really depends. As busy as I am, I tend to spend limited time on Facebook; I don't have a whole lot of time for watching videos. That said, I watch TPR videos more than other videos on FB. If I start watching, I'll probably watch the whole thing. The shorter a video is, the more likely I am to watch. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Fairly important - this image is what grabs my attention. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I like Facebook - a great way to stay in touch with friends. But I'm usually only on FB once or twice a day, as it eats up so much time. I mostly look at FB only when sitting down at a computer (whereas I look at Instagram more frequently on my iPhone). My biggest gripe about FB is too much content - some people post too much; FB repeats itself (each time someone comments on a post, FB bumps it up to the top of the newsfeed again); and FB shows me things that aren't relevant (I don't need to see each time a friend "likes" something or gets tagged in a photo). I wish FB was set up more like Instagram (and it used to be) - Instagram shows me everything once only, in chronological order; Instagram has less clutter and takes up less time. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? I like TPR's Facebook presence very much - you guys do an awesome job. Your content is fun and interesting, and you post the right amount. Your posts appear toward the top of my newsfeed, which means I'm interested / paying attention to you guys. Keep it up!
  10. 1. DVDs most, followed by Streaming 2. Hulu Plus 3. 15-20 DVDs per year? 4. Roku 5. Watch YouTube frequently also
  11. Great photos, Hanno! An EPIC day at one of my fave parks in the world. Glad you were able to join us for a few days.
  12. 2013 wood poll ballot submitted. Not a whole lot of changes, as I only rode 17 wood coasters in the past twelve months. So my Top Ten isn't dramatically different from last year's: (1. Fave Steel Coaster - GeForce) 2. Balder 3. El Toro (SFGA) 4. Boulder Dash 5. Ravine Flyer II 6. Colossos (Heide) 7. Troy 8. Thunderhead 9. El Toro (Plohn) 10. Phoenix 11. Twister (Gröna Lund)
  13. Florida - for Disney World, Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, alligators and Waffle House. (Also, generally speaking, the locals tend to be less dick-ish.)
  14. Dollywood is my fave park in the U.S. (Though in fairness, I've spent a lot more time at Dollywood than SDC, so perhaps I'm biased.) While I prefer Dollywood, both parks are outstanding - great atmosphere, gorgeous scenery, awesome rides, delicious food, good music, friendly staff... Easily two of the best parks our country has to offer.
  15. Easy - Walt Disney World. Sure, Cedar Point has the better coasters. But my visits to Walt Disney World have been a lot more fun than my visits to Cedar Point. Overall, WDW provides a much better park-going experience.
  16. I still buy DVDs. Not sure how many - maybe 15-20 per year? I don't buy Blu-Rays or downloads.
  17. So ready to head back to Scandinavia! (Though if I were able to swing two trips, Weird Japan also sounds phenomenal.)
  18. I voted "No," but that's generally speaking - it really depends. Working a nine-to-five job with limited days off, the weekends work better for my schedule right now. A weekday event would be difficult for me to pull off, but maybe not impossible. If there were an Outlaw Run Bash during the week, I might try to find a way to make it happen.
  19. Awesome video Robb! (I want to go back to Mexico NOW, dammit...)
  20. It was great to be a part of TPR's first trip south of the border. What an awesome week we had! It flew by way too fast. It makes me "muy triste" that it's all over now - but fortunately I brought home an $85 bottle of tequila to help deal with any post-trip depression. Robb and Elissa - thanks again for everything you did to make this trip such an amazing experience. MEXICO ROCKED!!
  21. Ballot submitted! Not a lot of changes this year, as I didn't get to ride too many coasters in 2012. Here's to a better 2013! And the results are...
