atem122 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 One more for fun. Making logos for rides is a fun little free time hobby I like to do, I usually take the pictures myself and edit them. I took this one by myself, and so far this is my favorite logo I've made:
Tbcoasterfan Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Here's some of mine Sorry couldn't resist, my next car.... 2010 Camaro SS taken at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) Kings Islands Eiffle Tower Son of Beast without the loop...... taken summer of 2008 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival My fiance Alicia and I @ Epcot during the 2008 Flower & Garden Festival Inside Test Track in the GM VIP Lounge..... One of the perks that my job gets me! Shiekra splshing Magic Kingdom at closing Cinderella's Castle @ WDW Finale to the Lights Motor Action Stunt Show at Disney's Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror at dusk
Speeddeamon128 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 ^^I agree with the Camaro. When I move in 2 years I will hopefully get the 2010 2RS 6 cylinder Camaro Now on to some pics: Â Steel Force. Â Fly the Great Nor' Easter. Â Alpengeist & Griffon.
themeparkman25 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I just have a couple of my trip to SoCal for spring break, Speed: The ride at Nascar Cafe in Vegas and a personal favorite, Riddlers Revenge at SFMM. Â Edit: I played with photoshop for the second picture. I dont know if it looks any better though, it just kind of seemed to take the grey out of the picture since it was only taken with a phone. I like that the dive loop and the tilt loop are split evenly by the corkscrew in the middle. I also like the trains location in the picture. Speed in vegas. I think its cool in black and white and with the sun. Is this better than the other one?
Speeddeamon128 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 ^Nice shot of Riddler. The sun glare adds a cool effect!
Em-Z Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I love this picture except for that guy with a reflector thing in the very corner and I just realized it's a bit crooked. I could have cut him out but it would have cut out a lot of the castle. I thought it captured the castle really well and the statue of Walt and Mickey.
themeparkman25 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Erm. This is one of my favorite threads, can I bump it since I know there are some cool pictures that have been taken since the last post? I certainly hope so. Â Edit: I am trying to post a couple of my pics and I am getting this message, anyone know what I am doing wrong? Â Could not access ftp directory: '/public_html/forum/files'. Please check your FTP Settings.

cprocks22 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 cprocks22-- Off topic but I just so happen to be listening to Owl City right now. Did you see Unicorn Kid at the Owl City gig? Â I did in fact see Unicorn Kid. He was AWESOME. His set was quite possibly one of the funnest times I've ever had at a concert. I give him huge props.
Airtime&Gravity Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Here are some of my favorite photos from the 2009 season.
themeparkman25 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 ^I feel so stupid asking this, but I am drawing a complete blank on the name of that B&M hyper. I think it has to do with the fact I can't think of a coaster that has that element, outside of maybe Nitro. Is it Nitro? Â Im not going to recognize you without the frog either.
Skycoastin Steve Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 ^Judging by the color scheme, it looks like Raging Bull.
GriffyTiffy Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Speaking of Raging Bull.... My personal favorite...
Maverickrocks Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 My favorites: Â Â If there was just a train on top... Â Â Â
Anac0nda Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Here are my favourites of the year: And finally, Kehrä - Linnanmäki. IMO the most beautiful enterprise. Kieppi - Linnanmäki doing it's thing in the dark. Vilda Musen & Jetline - Gröna Lund. There's just something soothing in the atmosphere of this image. Vilda Musen & Fritt Fall - Gröna Lund Kvasten - Gröna Lund. The most photogenic coaster of the park IMO. Insane - Gröna Lund. Pics don't really do justice to this masterpiece. R.I.P. Korkkiruuvi - Särkänniemi Amusement Park. My first coaster to have inversions. Same Tornado - Särkänniemi Amusement Park Half Pipe - Särkänniemi Amusement Park
RCFreak Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Here are about 20 of my favorites that I've taken, I'm sure there are more that I haven't found yet, but this is a good start lol. Â Little background on the first three, in 2003 I worked at Cedar Point at Power Tower. Toward the end of the year, they were nice enough to put the ride into Maintenance mode for us and let us take our cameras on. And if I had to pick one, it would be this one of Talocan @ Phantasialand Tizona in it's old location @ Terra Mitica Dragon Kahn @ Port Aventura Abismo @ Parque de Atracciones de Madrid Dragster at Dusk Disneyland Halloween decoration Winjas @ Phantasialand Knott's Berry Farm Inside the former queue of Dueling Dragons. Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls Same. Toward the end of 2004 I became a Captain on Paddlewheel Excursions and back when it was open during Halloweekends, we had a lot of time on our hands. Giant Wheel Mean Streak Mantis Raptor Can only be seen in the control room, a shot looking straight up the shaft. You get great views from up here. Do not try this at home kids.
Mich17mak Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Here are some pics I took while at SeaWorld Orlando last Thursday/Friday  Kraken: Manta: Blue Horizons Show: And some random views of Carowinds from outside my plane the other week:
