thrillrider
Me too. I would ride it just so I can say I did.
cfc
It may have been crazier to ride Big Bad Wolf. My forehead received a constant stream of freezing cold meltwater as I swooped through the drops and helices, and I actually had the worst case of "brain freeze" ever by the time the ride was over. GCI Wooden
^Did you take those photos yourself, or did you take them from other websites? If you took them yourself, were you in the park? Those pictures seem like they were taken from inside of the park, how did you get permission to go in the park when it was closed?
DougMJr
Here are a few I took at Darien Lake last off-season. Hopefully I can grab some more good ones this off-season! Morgan
Here's a few from Alton Towers back from 2012 when it was so cold they couldn't open any rides for the majority of the day. From memory I think the only rides that opened were the indoor attractions (Duel, Hex & SeaLife), plus Maraurder's Mayhem (Teacups) & The Blade, I think they got Air going later on, but that was about it. We spent the day just wandering about, it was quite fun as there was literally nobody else in the park and it looked stunning in the snow and frost. cfc
That last photo is hilarious. I'm surprised they got Air going, being as B&M rides don't like temperatures under 42 degrees.

Garet
Tokyo Disneyland on a snow day, a park so empty you could just walk up to an empty street and see the night parade and fireworks from the best spots as they were already happening.... sigh I'm never going to get a day as perfect as that one again.
