I would have to say my guilt pleasure ride is one of those old school rock-o-plane rides. my aunt owns a camp lot at a campground in Indiana. Its a Jellystone Park in Plymouth Indiana. Every memorial day weekend this mini redneck carnival is set up in the campground and that often have this very old rock-o-plane. its a lot of fun! depending on how you spin it,it can sometimes more intense then many modern flat rides! however the last time i went on it,it made me very very sick

I have to agree with this. I went on the one at Arnolds Park in Okoboji, Iowa, and it's really intense. I don't really do flipping rides so I didn't try to flip it, but they're really fun! In many ways, it's kind of a miniature version of Mickey's Fun Wheel at Disney California Adventure (or its sister ride, Wonder Wheel at Coney Island). Very fun indeed!

^ I miss it, too. Don't see it, or ride it enough.

My childhood introduction to this ride, was at the Penticton (BC) Peach Festival Midway, circa..... 1962?

Cool! I didn't know Penciction had any rides. I work in the travel industry, so I know a bit about that area, as it's a rather popular destination. Maybe we can get Larson or someone to revive the Rock-o-Plane? They're really great.

^ Well this was back in the 1960's, so I have absolutely no idea how their Peach Festival runs, nowadays.

But Rock-O-Planes still do RAWK!!!

Flying Scooters are one of those rides that I just have to ride when I see one. I wouldn't mind waiting up-to 30 minutes for one.

Vekoma SLCs.

Yes, I like them... (cringing as threat of hate approaches)

Not "hate"--just sympathy, as you obviously need some sort of psychiatric counseling.

I admit to liking Kumali at Flamingoland in the UK, but I haven't ridden it since 2006.

^I haven't been on a couple of the standard SLC's, but based on ride reviews I was under the impression that the later custom SLC's were somewhat decent rides.

Anything that has a crazy spin cycle. I love feeling dizzy and disoriented. Tropical Storm at PCC comes to mind first.

Kumali is a custom layout, and it isn't as "frantic" as other SLCs. But I've yet to ride one since that I thought was worthwhile. I haven't experienced one with the newer trains, though.

The most intense flat ride at a US amusement park.

I love everything that has a great intensity with a long monotonous ride sequence where a lot of others would start feeling sick quite fast.

This Flat Ride (90s Tivoli Orbiter) for example was on my local fair this year and I absolutely loved it because of its consistent intensity; just so relaxing. It never really slowed down and I was pushed into the seat nearly the whole ride sequence.

DCA: Mater's Junkyard Jamboree (I liked Luigis flying tires too!)

CGA: Tiki Twirl...I was suprised how much fun this ride is

SFMM: Gold Rusher (I am not counting Scream, becuase I think if it was not on a parking lot, this ride would get much more love..or at least a little love?)

KBF: La Revolucion..one of only a few spinning ride that does not make me queasy

SCBB: Wipeout. ^^See above^^

All parks....swinging pirate ships and swing rides. 51 years old, and still a kid!

I like Green Lantern at SFMM more than most. And I'm another who will ride a log flume in any weather, even by myself if need be. If there was a TPR "Log Flumes in the RAW" DVD I would totally buy it!

Were Going on a log flume, goin on a log flume.

^ Yes! It's what makes it so good. Well, that and the batsh*t insane program they run on it.

There are a number of rides that would probably fit this bill, but the one that immediately comes to mind is Adventure Express at Kings Island. I enjoy that coaster WAY more than I probably should (especially at night!)
