robbalvey Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Raptor at Gardaland certainly comes to mind. Which are the ones you guys think look AWESOME?
Groteslurf Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 By only looking at the topic title, I was thinking of the Raptor trains. I opened the topic and ..... . I always loved the Italian Job Mini trains too, especially because the doors actually opened.
RCT3Bross Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Helix train comes to mind. Really love the theming on that.
KBrylczyk Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I think every WingRider has a great looking train. They have a lot of open space to work with, of course. The new Goliath trains for SFGAm sure look pretty.
arby Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Yeah, I like the looks of all the wingrider trains. My personal favorite is the Italian Job cars that look like Cooper Mini - probably because I really like the look of the Mini.
DanM64 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 My favorite coaster train is Jet Rescue at Sea World Austrailia. I also really like the trains on Xcelerator, TTD when it opened and had the engine, slicks, and spoiler, and the B&M Wingrider trains (the only thing I like about them )
rctneil Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I like the cars on Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster:
arby Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 My favorite coaster train is Jet Rescue at Sea World Austrailia. That triggered my memory and I particularly like the trains on Steeplechase at Luna Park.
_koppen Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 If it simply comes down to looks, this one is pretty hard to beat IMO.
IronWolfman Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 The only nicely themed trains I've seen have been SFGAm Demon's and Elitch Sidewinder's, and they are both pretty cool.
Mrlittle Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I always liked the Dragon trains on Dueling Dragons. I means it's a freaking dragon and looks awesome. I also want to say Manta at Seaworld San Diego. I have not been on it but the trains always look very photogenic.
Aceattack52 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I know B&M hyper trains are everywhere and they're not the most unique, but I still like the look of them.
robbalvey Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 I always liked the Dragon trains on Dueling Dragons. I means it's a freaking dragon and looks awesome. Ahh, yeah, I forgot about those (probably because the ride is a bit of a let-down now), but man, when they were in their prime, they were AWESOME!
coasterkyle Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I love the minimalistic, open feeling that Skyrush's Trains offer
Cyrbuzz Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I think Cheetah Hunt's trains are pretty cool looking. Manta at Sea World Orlando also comes to mind with the large manta at the front and small ones in between cars.
DougMJr Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This isn't the nicest train I've seen by a long shot but I think the Vinyl wraps on the trains for Darien Lake's Viper was a really nice addition for 2013. Lookin' Sharp!
yay101 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This sounds weird, I know, but visually, TOGO Standup trains look great... I'm probably the only one who thinks that, haha
robbalvey Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 This isn't the nicest train I've seen by a long shot but I think the Vinyl wraps on the trains for Darien Lake's Viper was a really nice addition for 2013. You know what's funny about that is I always felt that some of the wraps that Six Flags sold on their trains for advertizements looked really nice, sans the ad, and why not do a few of those for the trains during non-ad times just to make the actual ride looks a bit better? I realize there is an expensive involved, but I highly doubt they are THAT expensive. And why not roll the cost of a new wrap for a train into whatever you're charging the advertiser? Have that cost cover both the ad wrap and a new train wrap. I guess you gotta put every dollar possible into the bank, huh?
Mrlittle Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I think Cheetah Hunt's trains are pretty cool looking. Manta at Sea World Orlando also comes to mind with the large manta at the front and small ones in between cars. I also really like Cheetah Hunt's trains. I kind of forgot how cool the front of the train looks.
azza29 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 It's an average coaster, but the trains on Mick Doohan's Motocoaster are pretty cool. Just the test seat but you get the idea...
willthegolfer Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I really like the theming on Goliath's train.
PVA62 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I've always liked the classic look of Thunderbolt's trains at Kennywood. I am biased because it is my home park and one of my favorite coasters but I still like the old school look. I just hope they can get working lights again at some point. rcjp Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I quite like how the front of leviathan's trains look and I also like their overall shape better than the staggered ones B&M also makes.
thrillseeker4552 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 For some reason I really like Lightning Run's front car. http://rcdb.com/7982.htm?p=48904
