Homeboy23 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Well I may do a California trip this year for the new coasters so I will probably schedule it that weekend if I do
Sir Clinksalot Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 This is generally a VERY good time for SoCal parks as well as school is back in session for the most part that week and it should be light crowds at Disney, Universal, Knott's, Sea World as well as the awesome WCB days.
Mr Stratosphere Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I am totally down for both days! Now that my job has me on weekends off, I can plan things much better! Excited that things are changed up a bit and it is during a different time of year! Thanks guys!!
Jojo19799 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 This is generally a VERY good time for SoCal parks as well as school is back in session for the most part that week and it should be light crowds at Disney, Universal, Knott's, Sea World as well as the awesome WCB days. Good to know! I've never been to Sea World or Universal, maybe I can make a nice little vacation out of this.
RoCo Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 SWEET! I was really hoping it wouldn't be coming up quite so soon. PSYCHED.
Someotherguyuser Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) Awesome! Now we can all take advantage of the restored Log Ride as well! September will now be the month to look forward to for me. My birthday, opening night of HHN, and now West Coast Bash! Oh, this will also be perfect timing for us college students since this will be the first week of the semester. That means we won't have so much homework. Haha Edited January 14, 2013 by Someotherguyuser
rolercstrluvr Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I have been waiting anxiously awaiting the announcement of WCB '13. I'm so stoked now, though i'm thinking about only doing the Knott's day after what happened last year at SFMM.
MylesG4L Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I really need to go. This will be my 1st time going to a WCB
Guy T. Koepp Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Yippee! I am usually there working in September. And I can build my weekend around this. Woot!
cfc Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I think the schedule change is a great idea. In addition to the new attractions being ready, the weather should be better, too. Nice work, Robb!
aLFREd_25 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 This is actually great news for me. I have missed the last two WCB's due to being out of state. Since I usually go back to So. Cal. around September anyway, I may have to plan around this! I can't wait!
cal1br3tto Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Love the new dates! Nice of you to get them out to us so early on.
SuperShawn Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 God willing I'll be able to swng this as a quick weekend get away. YOLO!
The Bebes Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 OF COURSE The Bebes will be there (barring any shenanigans) ready to supplement our thread with another EPIC trip report!!!!
RaptorBoyASU Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Love the new dates, they'll probably align with when I'm in Cali for work too!
Mr Stratosphere Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I think the schedule change is a great idea. In addition to the new attractions being ready, the weather should be better, too. Nice work, Robb! You mean no random hailstorm in the middle of the day like in 2010? We were on Ninja when that happened and boy did that hurt!
Voxelmatic Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 PERFECT! I'm going to Cali that weekend, so I'm pretty sure I can go
LawlessBagel Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I've been meaning to get to SoCal forever. I might as well before they rebuild Colossus. The dates will work perfectly for myself.
Kyle Coleman Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Count me in for both days again this year. Will be a good excuse to head out and get my yolocoaster credit and it is far enough away from my holliwood nights trip where I can squeeze both in. Likeing the the new late summer date too.
bigbill245 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 glad to see it later then sooner. More time to save my dolla dolla bills yo.
gisco Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Maybe get backstage tours of mazes being set up for Halloween!
