I was about an inch too short to ride Top Gun in '93, which caused me to have the second biggest fit of my life. First being the time I was too short to ride Big Thunder about four years earlier.

Batman: The Ride at SFMM in either 97 or 98. I didn't really get hooked on coasters until I rode Riddler's Revenge a year or two later. It's funny when I think back on those years, when I truly felt Viper was better than both of them....

I'm pretty sure mine was Shock Wave (stand up) when it was at Great Adventure back in the early 90's...can't say I was overly impressed.

I stand corrected, Shockwave was my first. I completely forget about that coaster.

This doesn't count. Shockwave was an Intamin, wasn't it? By B&M, I meant Iron Wolf and later - not the rides they created along with Intamin and Giovanola, like Flashback and the Stand-Ups. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure. It was also my first major roller coaster, and the reason I always ride it first when I get to the park in the morning (plus the line is quite short so you can re-ride usually 3 or 4 times...)

I'm gonna have to say it was Alpengeist, Howl-O-Scream 2009. My friend and I rode it at least eight or nine times before closing! Good times.

Kumba was my first Beemer back in 1996, such an intense ride back then and today still a beast of a ride. That was also the year I first visited Cedar Point and my coasting infatuation began.
