Damylv Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 There's a new video on Gardaland Official Facebook Page Lenght: 566 meters
RyanTPM Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 It's actually longer than i thought it would be then
LeoBruz199 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 People, this thing is gonna be 100m longer than Krake. hopefully they are well spent. Really though, that track needs a paint job.
flaffstar99 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I think the painting is good, all other attractions in this themepart are white, too 566mm Could be spent well.
spinning man Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Looking at the webcam over the construction site (http://www.gardaland2015.it/it/webcam), it shows that they are covering the tunnel already. Though this seemed fast, it does lead me to think what the theme is about. Seeing as some of the marketing reminds me of Oblivion, I wonder if this storyline is based on going to the centre of the earth as Oblivion was once planned to be. Just speculation for now.
RyanTPM Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Have they purposely done something to the webcam that doesn't allow us to see the track that's currently up?
Damylv Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 yes they have. Part of the webcam is just a picture pasted on However..
RyanTPM Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 ^Surprisingly the white track and support combination isn't looking too bad so far. Its getting really interesting with the vertical construction and not knowing the layout
rcjp Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 ^That's right. How often does this happen with a coaster of this size?
galahad Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Be interesting to compare this and Efteling's once they are both finished - both parks are renowned for their top-notch theming, let's see who gets the edge..
Damylv Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I got some news about the layout. Nothing official but just my thoughts... It should be, lift, drop, immelman, camelback, 90° helix and back to station I just compared that huge footer To this And supports also are matching:
rcjp Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 90° helix 90? Do you mean more? Because 90 wouldn't really be a helix. Behemoth's is 540. If that is right, not bad (at least a helix more than krake)
Blue Turbo Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 This construction process is a coaster nerds wet dream, trying to figure out the layout based on the pieces of the ride
Damylv Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 90° helix 90? Do you mean more? Because 90 wouldn't really be a helix. Behemoth's is 540. If that is right, not bad (at least a helix more than krake) Sorry... 90° I mean inclination of the coaster, not how much it turns
lewis97 Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 A new video went up on the minisite today. Short but intriguing.
spinning man Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Hopefully the cooling of the soil will mean that the webcam feed will now be unaltered.
Damylv Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I found direct link to webcam picture. http://gardaland2015.it/webcam/stream We can see supports
RCT3Bross Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Looks pretty steep if you ask me. Or am I looking wrong at it? I mean Krake isn't that steep right?
RyanTPM Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 ^It is a very steep lift hill, but that's normal for a dive coaster. Although it does look a little steeper than normal, maybe due to the small area they have to work with.
