well that roller coaster couldnt have been in final destination 3 because it said it had two corskrews and and in the movie that boy and that girl got stuck iin the vertical loop and they had to rock it to make it get out, so i dont see how it could have been that one because it didnt have a vertical loop. trust me i saw the movie 60 times when it came out. its like my two favorites roller coasters and horror flicks

well that loop did look kinda digital but i wasnt sure, i was just making a point but also if you look at the pics the height doesnt look the same, the elements dont look the same and it just doesnt look like the one in the movie

Here's a couple odd-balls of the same coaster-

"Where Angels go, Trouble Follows"

AND....

The classic John Waters movie "Hairspray-"

Both feature "Thunderhawk/Coaster" From DorneyPark.

The rollercoaster in Final Destination 3 was Corkscrew at Playland in Vancouver. Revolution and Colossus from SFMM came out in National Lampoon's Vacation. Titan, Batman and a piece of Mr.Freeze came out in Spy Kids 2.

There's a Jerry Lewis film I saw when I was young that featured a big wooden coaster that he supposedly blows up at the end...can't remember the title though.

here's one that maybe no one has heard of---

anyone ever seen the movie "A Mighty Wind"? It's a part of a series of Mock-U-Mentaries (The three movies in the series are Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and Waiting for Guffman).. it's a HILARIOUS movie, as well as all the others, and I'd highly recommend seeing them! As far as the coaster cameo--you see.....

DEJA VU!!!

I can't tell which park it's in, I'm thinking it might be the one at SFGAm.. but I'm not quite sure. So yeah, check out that movie! It's a hilarious movie--with a coaster cameo! Does it get much better??

Gonna keep my eye open for this movie. Don't know if it's

available in Europe though.

Has anyone seen the episode of Grounded for Life with Gay day at Action Mountain? In the beginning of the episode, wich coaster is that in the back (some sort of green one)

Not a Movie but... The show 'The Unit' had an episode that showed Cedar Point as a backdrop.

I think it was filmed in a field on MarbleHead Point, you could see all of the Point, the thing that gave it away was Dragster and Millennium Force.

If you've seen Its A Mad Mad Mad Mad World, the people are chasing a guy and in the back ground of the chase you can see a roller coaster and I think its the Cyclone Racer.

Just got done watching the movie "Boy A", which is a great movie. They had some scenes at Alton Towers when they rode Oblivion, Air, and some other rides. Ya'll should definitely check it out!

The opening to Knocked Up features several Knotts Berry Farm coasters. And there is a great little bonus on the DVD about one of the actors who was terrified to ride the coaster (Silver Bullet) and what happened when he got on it.

You can also watch the bonus in full here:

here are just a few I remember...

House on haunted hill- The Hulk

Bring it On: In it To Win It- Dueling Dragons

Knocked Up- Silver Bullet

Final Destination 3- Corkscrew (playland)

Fear- Wooden Roller Coaster (playland)

I believe Viper at SFMM is in the beginning of Space Cowboys, I think Clint Eastwood was an engineer for it or something like that before they got him back into NASA.
