RCT3Bross Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Seems there is quite some speed in there. In just a month I will go and ride this already exited.
BDG Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 A human rode it! Â Â Â Â photo: Damstra Techniek
KarlaKoaster Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 That human isn't Roland Mack is it? I'm only on a mobile so can't really tell.
KingRCT3 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Nope, it's an employee of Damstra Techniek BV, the company that erected Lost Gravity. Along with the picture was this sentence: Â The best part of our job, the first run ! Sure we will ride this great coaster again and again the coming weeks !
KarlaKoaster Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Oh haha, thanks for clarifying, glad I made my excuses already
StealthFan Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Â One of these things is not like the other! Â I look forward to hearing reviews of this ride when it opens. Given the smile on that gentleman's face though it seems like we may have a winner on our hands.
RCT3Bross Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 laurensvanheerde from Themepark.nl has made some test pictures: Love that drop more and more. Just a slight second to late if you ask me. Outside banked turn. Going into the Dive drop. Zero G roll Also he made a video, this shows the train going through the outside banked turn slowly, but these are early tests so this could have some speed to it: For the entire update and source (Themepark.nl) clink here. (video same source)
viking86 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I wasn't expecting the lift to be that fast. That first drop looks awesome! Looks good to me, I didn't think it was that slow through the outside banked turn.
theredskull84 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 That first drop looks like a blast! Reminds me of the wing rider drops but a lot tighter and taken with speed.
Nrthwnd Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I love that last video shot, with the car speeding behind the trees.

KBrylczyk Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 ^ Did Elmo take some ecstasy or something?
StealthFan Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 ^ Did Elmo take some ecstasy or something? Â Id watch that episode of Sesame Street! Â That music does sound like they want people to be raving in the queue line. Reminds me somewhat of the atmosphere the Helix music made in the queue line.
Anac0nda Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I kinda like the little sound clip! It's got nice rhythm and I can imagine at least some people getting a little groove on while queuing. The only thing that bothers me is that it has lyrics. Somehow I just don't like any lyrics in ride music, as it attracts more attention from me rather than just staying ambient, if you know what I mean. But a nice clip nevertheless. Groovy ride music is what this world needs more
RCT3Bross Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I don't know, I wish they just went with IMAScore instead (Like Walibi Belgium) instead of follow the Efteling and going with a famous Dutch DJ. This is not my style of music at all, I understand that these people are popular and the parks want to use these names to pull attention But I prefer "normal" themepark music in the park.
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 ^ IMAScore could be fully booked though, they have a huge amount of projects for such a small firm.
BDG Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Here's the full song... Â Â Â Â Â And some new photos, showing a lot more theming than expected... Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â photos: themepark.nl
jedimaster1227 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Some of those maneuvers look incredible! And I really love seeing the park invest the time and money into theming the queue and ride area as heavily as they are. This could really be a sleeper hit coaster of 2016!
JordyC Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 That is indeed a lot more theming than I expected. I love it! I can not wait to try this coaster at the end of the month!
RCT3Bross Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Honest reaction time: I like the full song more then I thought, that small bit had me lost interest instead of Gravity. But this is okay, if they remove the singing in the queue (correct me if I'm wrong but the Swarm at Thorpe they also removed the song text from the queue, so like that) I'm okay with it. This is a lot more theming then promised as they said just a steel coaster, okay nothing really screams Lost Gravity except for that porch upsidedown. But this is a hard theme to make in real life and make it look good. Â But all on all I'm exited to ride this in just 2 weeks from now. Wait a second does the queue cross the train track? Or is that just a new pathway?
