rcjp Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Not too sure about the color scheme.... But still looking forward to seeing what it'll look like.
chickenbowl Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Very interested in this coaster, I wonder if it will indeed be a Mega (Alpina Blitz, Storm)? I sure looks that way, and I hope so! Â It would surely make Walibi Holland a must-visit when I travel to Europe if they have both an Intamin mega and a Mack mega coaster!
StealthFan Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 If this coaster isn't called something like "The Bumble Bee Coaster" I will be very disappointed.
Hhappy Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 there's a contest online on the walibi website. it's called mental Check and it indicates that winners will get to ride this new ride march 24th 2016
BDG Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 New teasers... Â Â Â Â Â Â That first drop sure looks "crazy". Â Â source:
KingRCT3 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Catwalks on both sides... If Mack follows the same logic as Intamin. Winged/wing-rider trains? Â Â I305, one catwalk, normal trains (DropZone99) Â Skyrush, two catwalks, winged trains (Patrick McGarvey) Â Storm, one catwalk, normal trains (Parkstrip.fr) Â WH 2016, two catwalks... winged trains? (Snap above)
RyanTPM Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 ^That seems to fit as i read Mack said it would be a new type. A Mack wing coaster should be great!
Superbatboy Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 A wing coaster would explain why the track looks thicker than normal Mack track. Cant wait to see the end result
Anac0nda Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Yeah with those catwalks and that drop I'll place my bet on wing coaster. But think about it: a wing coaster with BlueFire restraints! This'll be interesting to follow
TheCoasterKid211 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Yeah with those catwalks and that drop I'll place my bet on wing coaster. But think about it: a wing coaster with BlueFire restraints! This'll be interesting to follow Oh... oh God. That just sounds... oh dear God.
Superbatboy Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 What if it's not a wing coaster but rather a full on 4D ala X2??? *fingers crossed*
KingRCT3 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I think it'll be a winged coaster (Skyrush) and not a true wing coaster (Frius Baco, B&M's) because the catwalks aren't that large. Â But just for your information, Mack did consider (and hopefully still do) building a 4th dimension coaster.
chickenbowl Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 They might just simply be wider trains? 4-across? All B&M sit-downs and floorless have catwalks on both sides. We may be seeing just a new style of train here.
Nrthwnd Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Buzz buzzy buzz buzz.... Â Â EDIT to add: You know, it could be called The Wasp.....?
_koppen Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Could it be a spinning ride, like the car they tested on Blue Fire recently? The catwalks would makes sense if they intend to spin the cars on the lift. Otherwise I would also think something winged is likely.
jedimaster1227 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) With a drop like that the spinning cars like they tested on Blue Fire would be amazing! That being said, I'm going to place my bets on a Mack wingrider. Edited December 3, 2015 by jedimaster1227
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Mack is following the trend pretty well!
JordyC Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 The lift hill and the first drop are complete.
BDG Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 You forgot the source. Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk316Nkr8qM Â Â source: Walibi Holland Snapchat (Walisnaps)
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 What if they did a floor-less version of Arthur?
RCT3Bross Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 These images where the first time I got exited for this project, that drop looks phenomenal. Happy this gets made in the Netherlands.
Nrthwnd Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Hmmm. This looks like a definite re-visit to WH should take place in a couple of years or so.
