screaminkid2005 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 It's probably just the angle of the picture, but the bottoms of that loop seem to be way to close together for a winged train. Lol
Raven Maven Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 That's one person, lol, chill. The other 3 comments are pretty positive. There was a couple. I wasn't getting all mad about it. Just pointing out people take something like a phrase on a tee-shirt way too seriously, much like some of us probably take roller coasters and theme parks way too seriously. Â Oh, we'd already braced ourselves. Our little department had worked like fiends for weeks to get the HoliShop launched (I can finally use the word freely since we announced Thunderbird). Right before it went live and we posted on Facebook, we made jokes about what the first comment would be - because although the majority of comments on our Facebook page are positive, but the first comment on a new post is always negative. Â I'm just glad no one attacked that particular lady. I looked on her FB page and she's a great-grandmother. She has a right to her opinion and is clearly troubled with what shows up on "the tube" nowadays. Â Btw, with only one exception, all of the HoliShop orders that came in overnight were for "Orange is the new Track" shirts. Â
GwaziBSRider1 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 ^^ Paula, since you mentioned there was only one exception, it makes me want to be exception #2!
Moose Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Love the shirt! Isn't that show a bit edgey for such a family park
Stu K Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 If you know what the shows about then you have watched it lol! I actually had to watch last night after all the comments lol. Â Stu K
Diamondbacker27 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 The loop does seem close. But you have nothing to worry about.
SharkTums Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Good for Holiday World getting a bit 'risqué'! I'm surprised given the location and clientele but happy to see they can joke and go for crazy stuff like this!
glucky11801 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 They are making great progress on Thunderbird's Maintenance Building!
Raven Maven Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 ^ James is so happy - our first train arrives in a few weeks. So nice to have a roof to protect it!
mikejenkins1 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Will you have a train with you at IAAPA? When do we get to see pics of it?
Diamondbacker27 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 ^ James is so happy - our first train arrives in a few weeks. So nice to have a roof to protect it! Please quit teasing us
Midgetman82 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Will you have a train with you at IAAPA? When do we get to see pics of it?  Holiday World is going to unveil and show off one of Thunderbird's cars at the B&M booth (I'm assuming) at IAAPA. From HW's Facebook: *Insert Image Here*  Awesome to see B&M get another wing rider to present at the Expo this year. I wish I could attend to see it for myself.
fraroc Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Good for Holiday World getting a bit 'risqué'! I'm surprised given the location and clientele but happy to see they can joke and go for crazy stuff like this!  Well OITNB is pretty big right now...But I got to say, it's definitely more classy than some of Six Flags' shirts. "I'm gonna ride that ass like a roller coaster"? I mean, WTF?
Raven Maven Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 We'll have a car from the train on display at B&M's booth starting next Tuesday. Â Lori and Leah Koch got an early test "ride" in Cincy last week (cropped closely on purpose): Â
prozach626 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 much like some of us probably take roller coasters and theme parks way too seriously. Â Â QFT
Midgetman82 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Whenever I see a new photo update, my mind has a hard time trying to grasp at the reality that this is at Holiday World... not that other park up in Mason, Ohio. Looks so amazing!
Raven Maven Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 ^ How do you think WE feel? Â Driving to work every morning, I'm just stunned when I see that new orange skyline. Between that and the deer running around, it's a wonder I'm still in one piece!
ZeroGravity55 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 ^ Oh you mean those deer carrying the "dash cam"? Â Actually, it appears the zero-G roll is now complete
TPDave Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I'm a bit late to the game but I love the shirt!!
ZeroGravity55 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ^ Speaking of the shirt, mine arrived today. Kudos to HW for getting it shipped so quickly!
ThemeParkJunkie51290 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ^ Speaking of the shirt, mine arrived today. Kudos to HW for getting it shipped so quickly! Â Super jealous! LOL! I'm ready for my shirt now!
mikejenkins1 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 inspection of web cam now shows a crane loading several curved pieces on a flatbed. My guess is that they are beginning to install the zig zag section. Can not wait to ride Thunderbird! Â Â Paula, do you know what track piece # they are doing now?
