^ They are, you can see the tips of the wings. I've read that there might be LED's on the tips of the wings. As far as pictures are concerned of the back of the train, I can't find any, and you know there is none when I can't find any. I have a feeling this might be why, though.

Paula tweeted this yesterday: Been HoliStalking our Thunderbird train like a new-car owner. #DoNotTouch #DoNotScratch #DoNotLean

She's got'em all afraid to even get near the train

^When the company you work for spends tens of millions of dollars on something, you better protect said product with your life. Especially from those pesky enthusiasts

^ lol when I read that tweet, I automatically thought of her being like the dude off the don't touch my Dodge Dart commercial.

So after we mentioned that there were no pictures of the back Thunderbird's trains, this showed up on Twitter:

There were also more shots of the back of the train uploaded to HW's Facebook page. There are going to be LED'S on the train.

Thank you, Paula!

I sense pretty nighttime photos for the park next year. First with HallowSwings, then Sparkler, then Mayflower, and now a roller coaster! Something to add to my collection!

One thing that I like about new wing coasters like Thunderbird is the newish B&M vest restrains because they are much more comfortable over the over-shoulder restrains.

Yes I mostly do love them. I have ridden GateKeeper several times as well as Banshee.

Much and improvement. Now with looping on those, you do start to get sore shoulders a bit but not too bad.

I know I've said it like three times. But, I really like these so much compared to the red or black ones.

Since they probobly won't finish Thunderbird on Thanksgiving, I wonder what they'll give us.

probably

What do you think they will give us?

^With apple pie!

Anyway now there is hardly any snow so we will not get anymore gorgeous pictures for the time being. But for the good news, they are almost done building it with only the carousel and the heart-line roll left.

^Once more, it's funny how they named it "carousel" rather than just helix. To look fancy I guess.

I think on vortex, at carowinds, the helix is also called a carousel on some articles and fact sheets I have seen...

They probably use the word "carousel" on coasters to make it sound like a special element over the helix or maybe it is just to try and make it fancy like rcjp said. Still it will always be a helix. I also really like the barn headchoper element.

Kinda like Kings Island recently did with their "6 giant loops in a dirt field" ride.

It gives people something to talk about, I guess. With the looks of Thunderhawk going up, I think people are gonna be talking about trees! I'm really (not being sarcastic) enjoying them call this a 'feature' on the ride. I love trees and I think they really do add to most rides, especially in this level of density. Makes you feel like your going somewhere.

If it plays goofy organ music, it's a carousel.

This ride looks amazing! The trees are definitely going to add to the ride experience and it's going to look BEAUTIFUL in the fall.
