socalMAN123 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 If you want good and free music (trust me it's legal) go to derder.com and tehn go to the music page and you can save songs onto your hard drive so you can put them in videos.[/url]
socalMAN123 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Positive. The website asked the bands if using their songs for download on the internet was ok. All the bands had to say yes before Derder put them on their website.
Scaparri Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 If I had a camera and the editing program to make videos, I would probably use a lot of The Format. The songs "Wait, Wait, Wait" and "First Single" just seem like they would fit well. The lyrics have nothing to do with coasters, the songs just seem like they could fit. I really like the "Best Friends" song by Toy-Box that Robb used for the Orlando Parks vid. I'm not sure why, but I can't get enough of that song. I'm not even really into that kind of music. It's too catchy!
J man Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I like using Darude and Robert Miles for my videos. Cause techno always works well with coaster videos.
CstrzRock Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Vines - Ride Lunatic Calm - Leave You Far Behind My Chemical Romance - To the End Muse - Hysteria Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger Toy-Box - Earth, Wind, Water & Fire Aqua - Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Mix) [mixed by Barbie Young] Those are good.
socalMAN123 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Hey yall- I enjoy making coaster videos (none of which I will show you), so the best songs to use are rock or techno. I've seen one rap song in a video (DCA video @ tommyandjames.net), and personally, I thought it stunk. It just didn't go well with the clips (besides the fact that the song fits Tommy and James perfectly) and doesn't run as smooth as rock and techno. Brent "Green Day songs work REALLY well" Shenton
Cjw Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Blur: Song 2 Ash: Orpheus Manic street Preachers:The masses against the classes:
El Quinte Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Du Hast from Rammstein would be great for a video!
maliboomer Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 For a Six Flags Magic Mountain or Knotts Berry Farm segment I suggest; Less The Jake - She's Gonna Break Soon Why, see the lyrics She’s gonna break soonGonna break soon Gonna break soon She’s gonna break soon Gonna break soon Gonna break soon With so many problems in her life it really comes as no surprise She’s gonna break soon Gonna break soon She’s gonna break Welcome to her busy dizzy life
coasters 4 me Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 well, what about DDR music? alot are fast, techno etc. i think it would go well with videos.
Nemmy Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 All Messed Up - Sum 41 Spokesman - Goldfinger Without - Exies
socalMAN123 Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 ^^Your right, DDR songs would work really well. I just don't know where to get them.
sbrownttd Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I love DJ Sammy - were in heaven for coaster videos.
waterviper Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Ozzy's CRAZYTRAIN!!! Use lots of fast speedy coaster footage for this song! \m/ (>_<) \m/
andrea Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Maybe the new songs from"the all american rejects" or "relient k" .
socalMAN123 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 ^ It's Relient K I think you should use any fast-paced song. They always seem to work well with coasters. For your first one try "Tonight Alive" By Ryan's Hope. ---Brent 8)
Teddymonster Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I always seem to pick the weird ones. So far: Audioslave - Show me how to live Queens of the Stone Age - Song for the dead Wow, you just picked my favorite songs off both of the albums they're on. Nice to see good taste up in hurr!
dougr Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 "Jesus of Suburbia" Green Day It has a nice segmented structure-works well with several different rides/elements.
Erik Johnson Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I like poofy video game music myself. I used a track from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube. I think next time I will use remixed commodre 64 tunes.
Carnage Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Muse - Hysteria Those are good. I used Hysteria for a Dorney park video, and New Born for a SFGadv video. I typically use whatever my favourite songs are at the time I make the video. Though that's only if I can't think of an apropriate themed song to go with the video.
Meteornotes Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I still plan on doing a 20+ minute salute to SLCs and/or kiddie coasters using Opeth's "Black Rose Immortal". dt
