SharkTums
I'm starting to like Phantasialand a little bit more if their harassing their customers and enthusiasts!
ernierocker
^Agreed. If they are replacing their log flume with a newer log flume, than this whole teaser campaign is absolutely hilarious!
STR8FXXXINEDGE
This is hilarious! Honestly though, I would be super happy if they put in another log flume. I love them, and they seem to be disappearing everywhere. I really liked the old ones at Phantasialand, and you know they would top them with the new one(s). GeorgeT
Come on, guys...just wait and see Phantasialand is very good at making well known things special...they just needed to renew their flume ride,yes...but if there will be some special features...maybe a MAJOR improvement in size, elements, theming...whatever...it could make a whole lot of sense to start this campain. Let`s wait with complaining until we see what exactly will be build ! Stop bashing Phantasialand

RCT3Bross
^I don't see anyone bashing Phantasialand...in fact all of the posters above you (except one teenager) love this campaign! Reference to me I expect. I like there way of going but I thought it was a little bit to teasy sowing you that. Could nobody of you see that this picture was taken after removing the boats the boats are on dry ground. What I mean by it is that I think the puzzle just have started jet. This Reference to maybe the location so on the place where the Long-flume where standing. The letters are still to be puzzled out what word is behind the letters a name for the new ride or the type (and manufacture) of the new ride. Belief me this isn't over. Knowing Phantasialand this could go on for sometime longer. I'm still doubting that well see a other Long-flume ride it could go any way now. Ledgy
Oh my... I was so excited, that I had to have a short look at work on my iPhone for a new hint of the new attraction and what's now... I totally blamed myself for my excitement and PH get's me again with their Teasers I should have known it better And, yes, I liked the Log Flumes, too. For me it doesn't matter either they replace the Log Flumes or will built a new attraction or maybe nothing. But from now, I'm more sure they won't built anything on this place in this year. I don't know what they'll tell us with that letters, but I guess it won't be on that place, maybe a new show or a smaller attraction somewhere else and will hope for a big attraction overthere for next year. This year seems to be a small announcement. But who cares my guesses after this blamage
RCT3Bross
We finished part 1. Now it comes to the letters. They will raffle 1X2 Entry summer tickets: Now we need to guess the letters. What will it be what will it be?

Nrthwnd
...The park was forced (by that safety thing) to stop running two separate log flumes, and combine them into one newly-designed flume ride, occupying all that same space? Just a thought. I mean, it looks like they still want to have some kind of water flume ride in their park, yes?
GeorgeT
I mean, it looks like they still want to have some kind of water flume ride in their park, yes? Yes...but it has to be rebuild completely...and I guess it`s VERY realistic to say that this will be an evolution...they will improve the ride for shure. Luukardinho
New Letters:
RCT3Bross
Read somewhere the word Versteigerung what is German for "auction". I checked every letter and no one was left behind or wasn't there. So it could mean that the going to auction the boats. So no new attraction yet is quite logic knowing that the park wouldn't announce so far ahead. I mean there will not be a attraction there in 2012 it to close agenda. I think there building there a attraction for 2013 starting on time (say September or October 2012) whit a new attraction on that spot. The park would not announce a attraction for the 2013 season if the 2012 season still has to start. It's completely open again what the going to build there. So one's again I say something we saying all the time Itamin Aquatrax that would be a great choice. Edit: Yes it's the truth now they going to auction the boats under fans: As far I get it they going to action parts of the boats around fans the money would go to charity. You must be so excited about something new. This quote stands under the picture, meaning they going to put something new there and maybe it's a direction that it isn't a long-flume. Now I'm excited about the new attraction.
Ledgy
"CONSTRUCTION AHEAD" Photos on Phantasialands Facebook Page (here). While the auction for some old articles of the park is finished, Phantasialand will post now every Wednesday at 5pm a new photo of the working process at the old Silverado Theater. They didn´t mention what exactly they´re working on...
Trevannosaurus Rex
With the rate Phantasialand are replacing their attractions, Black Mamba will be replaced in about 5 years! I hope they do replace the Silverado Theater with another theater. The stunt show there, ranged from mildly amusing, to absolutely insane depending on the year. It was always packed. However from the pictures just posted it looks as if they are cutting up the bents for a new woodie!
RCT3Bross
I don't expect something big here. I think it's a big chance that there going to preform a new show. Would be more logic. The building stood there the last day of winter Phantasialand 2011 2012, to break it down and set something new up so fast I don't believe. But I would be surprised if this is completely new. RCT3Bross
Well that changed a lot whit last year. I mean of course the Mexican part. Well I see a ride on the former long flumes in 2013 and looking at the space I go for a water ride or a coaster. And seeing the bridge a guess it will be combined whit the ride. Was in this park for the last time in 2009 and it changed a lot since. The whole park looks different whit 10 or 20 new rides after 2009. And don't forget the 5 or 6 rides that have been removed. This park changes in a rapid speed that isn't to follow. Nobody knows what will happen this winter and how the park is in 2013. But its one of my favorite parks out there so 2012 I wonder what you bring to this park.

eSHa
10 years ago the park wanted to invest in 28 hectares for further expansions, but theses plans got cancelled by the government due to environment and resident protection. After a lot of political bashing meanwhile, the government made a new offer to the park last week, which contains 19 hectares instead the planned 29. See here on the Map. green is that missing 9 hectares. Source: http://www.general-anzeiger-bonn.de/lokales/region/Neue-Plaene-fuer-Erweiterung-des-Phantasialandes-article764175.html See here the news from General Anzeiger Bonn: http://translate.google.de/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.general-anzeiger-bonn.de%2Flokales%2Fregion%2FPhantasialand-stimmt-Ausgleichsvorschlag-zu-article795517.html Sounds like great news to me. I'm looking forward for the further expansion of the park which is deeply needed! Until autumn the park will work on a plan how they could use these 19 hectares. Moose
That is great news for the park. The removal of the log flume opened up a much bigger chunk of land than I was expecting. Still no word on what will be going in their place, correct?
TPDave
That's interesting. This has to be fastest expanding theme park out there. I remember how much extra space there was in 2010 that when I was there in 08. It'll be interesting to see what the plans are as I don't think they made the best use of the splash battle area last time they expended into new land (though I do recall someone telling me that they were heavily restricted by the local government).
