Oblivion100 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 But what will the themed beams be then? . It surely looks accessible with that wooden structure even though there is a lot of theming. I can`t believe it would be for technical personal only.
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 The level of detail is insane! By the way they still haven't unveil the train yet right?
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 But what will the themed beams be then? . It surely looks accessible with that wooden structure even though there is a lot of theming.I can`t believe it would be for technical personal only. I can tell by the construction of the bridge and the fact there is a curb (or step) when you go through the entrance way that this is either completely fake for theming's sake, or an emergency walk way. Most likely, its completely face.
Nrthwnd Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 It's just theming. Way too narrow for what the queue line should actually be, IMhO. And they "may" have a live actor (or an AA) coming out of that cave towards the gp, so the archway has a bit of a stopgap there, mainly for kids I bet. Although at Fluch von Novgorod, it does get a teensy bit..... tight in the queue?
PureFun Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Hey there, new theming stuff and KLUGHEIM views are available. Building the Sound barrier... Installation of wiring on the first Launch... Varnish of wood on the big tower of the Station... Construction of one of the main paths of KLUGHEIM... Wood paneling on the huge River Quest lift tower... Construction of a chimney in KLUGHEIM... Source (Phantafriends.de) and more photos from the day yesterday in KLUGHEIM. PureFun
jedimaster1227 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 That is one heck of a twisty Intamin layout! I can't wait to see a POV of the completed project, theming and all!
DaveDowning Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Phantasialand just officially anounced "RAIK" on their Facebook Page. It will be the "largest" Family-Boomerang in the world (talk about a record ). Source (warning: Facebook)

TB305 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 ^I don't know why I laughed so hard at this post
Paradox Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I don't see why it would be bad if they used this record lol. I'd definitely love to see the layout of it right now.
shivtim Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) From Freizeitpark News. These aren't official, but are based on the existing footers: Edited December 11, 2015 by shivtim
Paradox Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 That layout seems to be too short to be the longest of its kind.
A.J. Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I mean, when the standard layout is short like this, "longest" isn't terribly difficult...
KarlaKoaster Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Nice to have the bonus coaster announced! I love the 'longest family Boomerang' record too, that's like an award for someone who can whisper the loudest
Superbatboy Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Say what you will about Vekoma (I'm personally not a fan) but they sure do A LOT of business.
KarlaKoaster Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I've liked a lot of Vekoma stuff recently! Their family coasters have always been really solid IMHO (love BTM and most of their mine trains) and their more recent coasters have been pretty good.
Paradox Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Yea the stuff Vekoma has been coming out with lately has been amazing.
Zwoopaman Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I feel like it's almost impossible for Vekoma to get rid of their bad name. On topic though, looking forward to try out these new rides. Theming looks amazing so far and so does Taron ofc.
Rill'o'beily Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Personally i think vekoma really is a good and underrated company. They do good business, but primarily their rough coasters are the ones that are copy paste, such as SLC and boomerang. Or them old copypasters such as whilrwinds. They keep inventing new stuff and they have loads of great coasters: -Junior inverted boomerangs -Custom inverts and regulars -LSM launchers -BTM, -EE -Family boomerangs, -Family coasters -Motorbike launch coaster -Custom coasters such as montana rusa at barcelona or walibis revolution -GIBs (when they work) -minetrains -custom dueling coaster -big air -Flying dutchman & stingray -and so much more!

rcjp Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I also think they are underrated. GIBs are awesome (yeah, when they work ) and, as mentioned, they have lots of cool stuff too. When was the last time they actually built a bad and rough ride?
