Paradox Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I heard the trains will be heavily themed/customized... I'm so hyped! I think it would look really dumb if they put the most ordinary trains possible on this ride. Confirmed Shockwave trains are going to this.
gerstlaueringvar Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Seriously though, can you imagine how great the trains will look like? I would guess black main tune with metallic bronze and/or silver details and dark red LED strips.
DoinItForTheFame Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Simply. Amazing. I know have said it before... But I feel like it needs repeating... I LOVE the amount of detail going into this project.
coasterkid124 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 They are putting theming on the footers??? Their attention to detail is extraordinary. Six Flags and Cedar Fair... Take notes.
RCT3Bross Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 The more I see the more I question if this will be done by 2016, there is going so much work into this ride that it can easily take another year. Amazing.
Virus Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This look amazing! I really hope the trains don't have those thigh crushing intamin othrs.
KarlaKoaster Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I love that the themed footer makes it look like it's falling apart! Oh, regarding Cedar Fair etc, to be fair to them there's a place for amusement parks and a place for theme parks. Phantasialand's theming looks INCREDIBLE but I think what Cedar Fair does is good too
SharkTums Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Every update just gets better and better!
simaticable Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 This coaster is absolutely beautiful with the themeing surrounding it, and I applaud the park for keeping the layout a huge mystery. I can't wait to see what the final product looks like, and the fact that it's an Intamin gives me hopes that it gives a kick ass ride.
DILinator Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Oh, regarding Cedar Fair etc, to be fair to them there's a place for amusement parks and a place for theme parks. Phantasialand's theming looks INCREDIBLE but I think what Cedar Fair does is good too Piggy-backing on this, I was just talking to my Brother-in-law about this yesterday, and explaining that Cedar Fair and Six Flags are really "Amusement" Parks, as opposed to "Theme" Parks. Hence, you're never going to see major theming applied to coasters at those parks, as randomly theming one coaster in a park that isn't a themed park, would indeed generate poor ROI from a business standpoint. It'd be awesome to see coasters like this at CP, for instance, but it'll never happen, and I think that's understandable.
intothewild Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Today the logo of the coaster was carved into one of the walls. Things seem to get better every day.

DoinItForTheFame Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 (that's not a carving though) As amazing as everything else looks on this coaster... I'll find it in my heart to forgive them for this not being a carving!
BDG Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 It's so sexy that it has to stay protected. I will gladly take the job of unwrapping the coaster when construction is done. It would be like the best Christmas present ever!!! Oh snap, you guys were quoted in the latest official update. http://magazin.phantasialand.de/verhuellt-wie-christo-achterbahn-taron-eingpackt/ Die verpackten Achterbahnschienen haben sich schon in der Welt herumgesprochen. In amerikanischen Foren diskutieren die Fans, was es damit wohl auf sich hat. Die „crazy germans“ seien mal wieder besonders genau, wenn es um Achterbahnen geht, heißt es da. Einige vermuten ein Versteckspiel dahinter, andere glauben „it’s so sexy, it has to be protected“ und manche bieten sich gleich an, um Taron dann irgendwann mal auszupacken, wenn es soweit ist: „I will gladly take the job of unwrapping the coaster when construction is done. TB305 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 ^I thought you were joking, I was laughing so hard when I saw that they actually quoted them.

Oblivion100 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Maybe you`ll get the inviation one day. Would you agree flying over to Germany only to unwrap it?
