p. 513 - Wrath of Rakshasa dive coaster announced for 2025!

Recommended Posts

Took some photos of goliath this morning as I wanted to see the arch/lift in person. Workers have been busy all around the ride premises all morning. The anticipation I have to ride this RMC coaster is next level. Less than 20 days now.

Goliath really is a massive structure

The zero gravity stall is looking amazing

For those of you wondering how the entrance area is looking so far.

Despite being a new ride, the station doesnt scream "new." The concept art was pretty and theyv'e stuck to it fairly well. But in the concept art there were murals inside the square panels on the front of goliath's station building. Hopefully those will be installed before the opening! They would really give it some visual interest and better tie the building in with the sign. There are other details missing that we may or may not actually get, but hopefully we do! (I'm seeing though in the recent photographs that wood paneling has been painted where there were originally columns in the concept art )

OH MY GOD THE TRAIN LOOKS SO GOOD!

BTW those pieces of steel, those I-beams, in the photos on the previous page are for the lift structure. They are not topper track pieces. They are constructing the lift on the ground and bringing it up into place.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this thing being delayed another week.

It seems like they have a lot of work to do in 20 days including testing.

But whatever probably won't get to ride it till mid June anyway

This thing looks stunning

Yeah I mean really, it's not even done yet so I don't understand why people are disappointed about the station.

Have a little patience and wait until it's complete.

But I mean come on, look at the incredible coaster you are getting!

I just can't believe how good those trains look - I think they are way cooler than Outlaw Run! Looking at the video, it loks like there is still a lot of construction to do. Does anyone think they will be delayed too?

Those seats look like they may cause a small... disturbence in the lower-body areas

I thought the same thing. Are other RMC seats like that?

Outlaw Run has the same seat/restraint style and they are very comfortable in my opinion.

5:08 and the cranes are still active. Hopefully they work overtime today because they probably didnt get much done during the morning's showers and sunday and monday are both showing thunderstorms. We could run into more delays next week!

Here's another photo from the Park's Instagram from today. The seat belt is a bit clearer now, as well.

This and Iron Medusa are the only full size coasters I can think of where the trains have been added before the track has been finished. Although the stations were already built and only had to be modified.

20 days I'm hopefully because I've already made my travel plans but it seems impossible. There is going to have to be a ton of over time to make that date.
