Disney Freak Andrew
Why in the world would a company name there death contraption SCAD? They should have named it something that would strike fear into all who pass it, not make them laugh there eyeballs out! Â SCAD sounds like scat or scab or crab or slab. Maybe they should name their tower.......HOLY CRAP

rollin_n_coastin
^Same here, not that crazy yet. I really enjoyed watching though but have to get over a basic drop tower fear before attempting that. I'm still in awe of all the people that did it and of course to TPR photographer Hanno for braving the cold and rain/ wet snow up there to take some phenomenal pics.  With a park wristband, the SCAD jump worked out to about $10.00 USD  The park was awesome and even let the jumps go in the rain but the wind wasn't too crazy.  Congrats to everyone who did that thing. For some, Cobra and Pegasus were adventurous enough lol  An amazing trip so far, without a doubt.
TPDave
^^ Terry, you should have done the SCAD tower, it didn't kill any of the TPR members (try as it might!). Â "Did you see the lesbians in the Dragons mouth?"Â --TPDave. TusenFryd. 15:52 TPR 2009 Scandi Trip. Â HA! It was a slightly bizarre moment, but pretty funny! Disney Freak Andrew
I'd do any of those crazy death contraptions. Â As long as there is a net or a restraint to keep me from experiencing the death part.
Kevin Long
It is good to see that Theme Park review is doing it's part to be inclusive of those with special needs - I will commending them to the ADA folks in Washington. andyuk200523
SCAD - Suspended Catch Air Device (FYI) Â There was a SCAD Mobile Tower that visited my town a few years ago.......really wasn't that keen on doing it, still not sure if I would do one now! Â You guys all look like your having an awesome trip, keep enjoying yourselves!

robbalvey
Djurs Sommerland - Â - Intamin Mega-Lite - Nothing else needs to be said! Â (Awesome park, though!) And now we must say goodbye to Piraten and all it's awesomeness! "Can I ride too?" One last ride on Piraten...and our afternoon rides certainly lived up! OMG! Terry has found his long lost children! (And we all thought you were gay! Who knew?) This is NOT going to end well! Anth is loaded into position....FIRE!!! "I'm totally going to take over William's job at Magic Mountain!" It's like Wii Fit - LIVE!!! Human ring toss! GET READY! GO!!!! Can Ron Hula Hoop WITHOUT spilling his beer? So we've seen panning for gold, bread baking, trampoline jumping, triangle of death and now.... STILT WALKING?!?! VICTORY IS OURS!!! Don't worry...none of the TPR members were injured during the Triangle of Death takeover (just innocent bystander kids) Jumpy Jump Jump Jump....JUMP! They had a "Triangle of Death!" (And no Ryan's head is not in Josh' butt...it just looks like that...optical illusion!" "Dear Mr. Trampoline...this is gonna hurt me more than it's going to hurt you..." "Hey world! Check out my junk!" If the special olympics had gymnasitics, Robb would totally be there! Did we mention there were trampolines EVERYWHERE? This one is part shark-part eagle... or ... "SheGle!" CAPTION GAME! What is the name of this sick and twisted animal creation? Email your caption to Dan and the best 10 will get a TPR Bag-o-Crap! mrt0ad13@aol.com OTHER PARKS TAKE NOTE!!! This very simple toy table kept kids occupied in one of their restaurants while the parents were able to eat! Yup! They also had one of those "get some raw dough and make bread over and open fire attractions!" (Note - Elissa's bread was the only one that survived! It's because she's a woman.) Hey! We thought King Kong was all burned up! Chico & The Poachers was a pretty good "politically incorrect" boat ride! The park had all sorts of "little" things everywhere like Pan for Gold. Tacky American Flags + Water + Backwards spinning = one of the best charswings rides I've seen! KidTums' Mega-Lite was in the form of a Wacky Worm today! "Me likey Intaminy Mega-Litey!" BLECCHHH!!! BLARGGGG!!! BRACCKKK!!!! The ride gets a lot of bonus point for just being balls-out, throw your hands up in the the entire ride...FUN! But when you see pictures like this you can see it has that "Top 5 coaster in the world" potential! I will say that it didn't ride *quite* as good as Kawasemi in Japan...BUT when we got there it was cold and the ride hadn't operated al week. It's like someone had explosive diarrhea with coaster track, it splattered everywhere and created one of the most awesome layouts ever farted out! Sick...just sick! Crazy airtime or Mental Illness - you decide! Piraten is constant airtime over almost every hill. The is not as big as a Millennium Force or Expedition GeForce but it rides just as good! "Is everyone ready to ride?" The Money Shot! "Hello world! Here's my thumb!" It looks like a Wild Mouse but it rides like awesome! "What were we riding again? OH! Thor's Hammer!" Anyone else think that Terry was a cartoon character in a previous life? "We took the tunnel!!!" While it is totally upstaged by the Mega-Lite, the Gerstlauer Bobsled (Thor's Hammer) is pretty cool too. Terrance says "OH MY LAUNDRY!!! INTAMIN AIRTIME!!!" Nosferatu
Nice uppdate. I visited Djurs Sommerland last year, and Piraten was awesome. The park was almost deserted during our visit. raptor2011
Great trip report, the park looks like its top quality with their rides. I hope a megalite makes it into the UA.SA.
