How Often Do You Go To Your Local Park?

Recommended Posts

I don't go to my local park-CGA anymore. I stopped going since 2007. It's SO BORING & the roller coasters STINK. They are nothing compared to SFMM. SFDK hardly has any & is too far away so I don't get to go there either but I have been a couple times a couple years ago. I am soooo jealous of those whose home parks are SFMM & the Disneyland Resort. If I were living there between my favorite parks in the whole world I would buy season passes & go to those parks every weekend!!!

I have two local parks, but the one I visit more is Knott's Berry Farm. I usually go here about three times a year, but this year I may go more. Disneyland is the other park fairly close by but I haven't gone here more than once a year at most since I stopped getting annual passes a few years ago because it is way too expensive.

I consider any park within 4 hours of my home local....I have atleat 5 (but have only been to a few).

I normally go to Holiday World about 5-6 times a year.

Six Flags St. Louis about the same as HW

Indiana Beach is a 2 times a year at most

Kings Island is 3 hours from my home and I have yet to go during operating season (but plan on buying a pass this year visiting atleast 5 times).

I try to go to SFMM atleast once a month, but I've been going to KBF a bit more this year because it's half the drive. I miss SFMM so I think we might get two visits in this month. (This Sunday maybe, and 100% the Sunday after.)

SFDK once a year is not enough, but we live way too far away from it!

Waldameer is my closest "real" amusement park and I usually go once a year. Maybe more with RFII now at my disposal!

Darien Lake is the next closest theme park. Last year was the first time I had visited in about five years or so. I actually had a great time and may go back there camping again this year.

One of the two parks will also hold my company picnic. They usually rotate every other year. Last year was Waldameer, so this year could be Darien Lake.

My home park is Pleasurewood Hills. I only go there once or twice a year because it is really nothing special and very overpriced ($23 at todays exchange rate). The best ride is a boomerang so that gives you an idea of how good the place is.

I've probably visited BGW thousands of times before. Last year, I had a VA Fun Card, but I only visited three times.

It seems that after you've done all the rides, seen all the shows, and ridden all the coasters a couple hundred times, the park gets kinda boring.

This year, I don't have a Season Pass or a Fun Card, so I'll probably not visit.

I usually get to Knott's about once a year, and Disneyland/DCA about once or twice.

This year, I've already been to SFMM about seven times, and probably will get out there about once or twice a month.

My home park is technically Alabama Adventure, and I usually go once a year just when friends want to.

My second closest park is Six Flags over Georgia and I typically go 2-3 times a year, all depending on who wants to go. I don't go for the attractions, but just when friends want to hang out there.

Thai you only go to SFOG for Wheelie! Admit It!

Lagoon Park in Farmington, Utah, is my Home Park and only about 35 Minutes away. I go to Lagoon at least once every week and I use my Season Passport about 45 Times a Season. I May be a little Hard Core.

My home park is SFGAm and last year I went 3 times. Once after school was let out, sometime during the summer because I got discounted tickets through work, and Fright Fest with a bunch of friends. I'm hoping to go a ton more though because this is the first year that I got a season pass.

Canobie Lake is my home park, about 30 minutes away, but I will probably only go there 5-6 times this season. I would go far more often, however, they don't have season passes... and I don't feel like spending $25+ every weekend.

Funtown is about 1.5 hours away in Maine. I haven't been there in a long time, so I'll probably go 2-3 times this summer and get my credit on Excalibur.

SFNE is 2.5 hours away and I'll probably get there 4-6 times.

I have two home parks. Clementon Park which is right down the street from me & GADV which is about 45 minutes away. I have season passes to both parks & I also have a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass for Dorney. I rotate parks each week so I don't get to bored riding the same coasters week after week. On average I hit Clementon & GADV 6x a year. I try to go some place different each week with in a 3 hour driving distance & there are a bunch of great parks in my area.
