Kumbarider1993 0
Buckle? I'm still calling it a twisty hilly thinggy.....
Ccron10 0
As for the drop angle, I'm pretty sure that either the camera wasn't 100% level when I took the shot and that I wasn't looking at it completely from the side. Even so, it's steeper than El Toro, which has an insane first drop so I don't think 5 degrees is going to matter. Sooperdooperlooper's brakes do look different from what they were in the summer. The sidewalk goes by the MCBR behind the station so I was checking that out. Earlier last week the running lights were on. I saw some photos this morning that showed the workers moving the top-piece around with the crane and since I haven't heard anything today, I am willing to bet that tomorrow might be the day. I'll be going over again tomorrow afternoon to check it out.
australianalex 0
The layout is looking really great, it reminds me a bit of I305's layout but hopefully with more airtime.
Awptim0 0
Looks like a lot of fun, and the new hyper/giga track and lift style Intamin has picked up is fancy. I would LOVE if Magic Mountain got one of these!!
BDG 2
^Yup. The Superman coasters do the same thing Not with banking.
Double0Kevin 0
It amazes me how Intamin can make such ugly coasters, yet they are totally beautiful at the same time. That lift is honestly hideous, yet I love how it looks. Damn you Intamin and your ability to totally mind f%#k me.
A.J. 36
It will probably look a lot better to a lot of people when catwalks are eventually placed on it. Like I said before, photos do not do this ride justice. The lift looks great in the, uhh...metal.

Ed Farmer 4
I guess "crest of lift hill" was simply too mundane nowadays. Turbo Zone of Rapid Deceleration™ (brake run) is mine. Edited January 30, 2012 by Ed Farmer

QueerRudie 0
Our baby looks beautiful, and in every way. I almost feel like hanging signs up that say "It's a BOY!" Way to go Steelworkers of Pennsylvania for making today happen... Now get to work on the remaining steel!

Myself 0
Anybody still think it's ugly now??? LOVE it!
chickenbowl 0
Once they put other things on the lift, (catwalks/track/other stuff), they can finally finish up that layout and get this thing testing. One step at a time, but I'm happy to see progress.
Fooz 0
From the webcam image, you can see how nuts the drop and first valley are! Edit: picture I found on twitter Edited January 30, 2012 by Fooz
