I am completely and utterly shocked by the creepiness of this thread.

Yup pretty much. I could see the Title Fairy paying this guy a visit soon...

Wait, someone actually voted "No, but I'd consider it?" Dude, as a public service announcement, you need to alert us as to when and where you'll be all season. Thanks.

I think this is more pathetic than creepy. It's not like you can track someone down and stalk them based on how they look in a crappy on-ride photo.

Well...it would be creepy to have a collection.

My collection is beautiful, not creepy.

As an aside, buying other people's on-ride photos might be a good way for Big Mike to get us those bikini pictures he's promised us.

Before it became a hardcore porn site FlashMountain was basically a collection of ride photos from Splash Mountain.

PS: When I worked at DL we would occasionally call down to Viper Photos and ask them to save pics for us because their system printed each picture and so they were thrown away if not purchased. So we would call down there and be like "save car 5 from the next train" and they would.

But I have considered buying someone else's ride photo- though I haven't voted in my own poll. Keep in mind this was not a serious consideration. Also keep in mind that being in school full time and working 1/2 time and being on Student Gov't by this time in the week in this time of the semester I am just...how should I say it...off.

I'd say there's a difference though. I'd be willing to bet that those who "posed" on SM went in with the intention of wanting to be seen, and /or perhaps "immortalized" by their actions. Exhibitionists don't mind when strangers are interested. Random people enjoying a ride would probably be creeped out to know someone purchased their pic without consent, and for the reasoning you described. It seems harmless in your mind, but to most of us, it's just plain creepy. Just a thought.

As creepy as this is there have still been like 5 pages of responses to it wow. I have never bought nor ever considered buying someone else's on ride photo, however the following is a list of people's photo i would maybe halfway maybe consider buying.

1.Bill Paxon

2.Jon Stamos (how could would it be to show your friend that picture, "Hey i rode Goiath with fu***** Jon Stamos !!! yeah Uncle Jesse")

3. Irene Ryan ,the granny from the Beverly Hillbilly's

4. Chuck Norris

No but I almost did!

Last year I went to Gardaland for opening day and for the opening of the new 4D movie theater they have invited Carolina Kostner: a famous ice skater. After she got some ERT on Blue Tornado (the SLC) I asked to see her onride picture but at the end I didn't buy it because she was half hidden by the person next to her!

This thread just keeps getting Creepier. And I thought Tatum was creepy.

Ya'll may think I am creepy, but I lack other people's on ride photos!

Six Flags Great Adventure printed out a pic of my cousin and I's infamous "Disney Sux" Nitro onride pic and left it out as a sample at the counter. True story.

I was not upset that they printed my picture without my knowledge as they did this only because I'm so ridiculously gorgeous and they wanted that pic to help boost sales of onride photos and motivate all employees to show up each day to just to see me.

I'm surprised I'm the only one that has bought a picture of someone else on a ride.

There was this really hot chick, I couldn't stop staring at her in line for Magnum XL 200. It was love at first sight.

So I bought her picture from the photo-shop.

^^ There's so much wrong with that.

This reminds me of the water park at the Alton Towers hotel. They had a sign saying "When buying pictures including kids younger then 10, the kid needs to be present".

It's disturbing to think that a sign like that is required to keep these kind of freaks from buying stuff.

That's almost as creepy as those people that wait around at the bottom of those water slides that drop straight down and cause some of the bikini tops of girls to come off. Or so I've heard.

God what is wrong with you people?!? You don't need to buy the photo, just use your digital camera and take a picture when a hot chick flashes up on the screen! Free AND fun. I've filled like six memory cards already from just water rides alone.

I am just curious because I have done this myself...

Ok, seeing as I'm the one who pissed off half of the forums with my comments about the Spain TPR, [sarcasm]I feel fully qualified to comment on this[/sarcasm] Yes, it may seem kind of creepy, but you did it when you were younger, and it was in fun. I couldn't see spending money like that on someone else, and yes I also agree that the forums have lost their sense of humor sometimes.

I mean it's just a simple question, and people starting giving him a colonoscopy about it. Damn, while it may not be your cup of tea, no reason to crap on others. I'm sure all of us have some "skeletons" in our closets that would get blasted in here, at least he had the balls to post about his.

Yes, I think this is creepy.

And they call me creepy, HA!

No, you're still creepy. While not nearly as creepy as BrownStreak and Hand Of Time, you're still creepy.

I am tired of people saying that TPR has lost its sense of humor. This is not funny, on any level. We didn't lose our sense of humor, you guys posted stuff that wasn't funny. I think the fact that most people find this creepy shows that TPR is the same as it always was.
