Carowinds problem, not

Cedar Fair problem

How many Six Flags parks do you think shot off fireworks in complete daylight?

I was there.  They also shut down Orion and The Beast for 2 1/2 hours due to fireworks.

Sounds like a Kings Island accomplishment rather than a Cedar Fair one.

Wife and I are heading to Carowinds tomorrow for my first ever time visiting. Already went and bought Fast Lane for both of us. Anyone recommend any places in the park to get food or even get a few beers?

My son and I are also heading down there for the first time at the very end of August. We will be in the park on Sunday the 29th and Monday the 30th. I am hoping the lines will be pretty reasonable on that Monday at least!

Hi! Making a trip to Carowinds this coming Sunday and Monday and see on Queuetimes.com that Intimidator, Hurler, and Nighthawk have all been listed as closed for a while. Is this true or is it just a bug in queuetimes. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Decided to just call the park and was assured all the coasters mentioned above would be open. She did mention that I should expect the skytower and plants vs zombies to be closed though. Figured I'd pass that info along here.

Yeah those rides are always listed as closed for whatever reason, so if you're at the park and using the app for wait times, don't worry too much if they're not listed as open.

Queuetimes.com always seem to be really inaccurate for Carowinds (maybe for most parks?). The wait times almost never match up.

I get it, they're closing off the path from the right side of the front gate back to Rock N Roller for staffing and the paths back to Afterburn. It sounds terrible, but I guess it's better than being closed. Maybe they'll under-promise and over-deliver?

... lol

Why would a park thats in the business to make money be attempting to keep the crowd down a bit? 🤣

God, CF sucks so hard anymore.

"To promote social distancing we've made our event lineup absolutely terrible so nobody wants to go"

... easy, efficient, no need to mess around with reservations, they really are playing chess while the rest of the industry is playing checkers.
