geekgrrl Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Um, great job Mike? I am kidding, of course. I do wish I would have seen this post yesterday though. You could have been saved on my TiVo until the end of time. I guess you'll just have to settle with the public arena of the internet instead.
bossfannj Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 i thought he looked familiar!!  leno and conan were both great last night  how did you score tickets for leno, mike?
FLIPDUDE Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hillarious! Note to self: If I'm ever on the Late show crowd keep my coaster riding to mysself...
derwood Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Big Mike, Â Nice job... Â I can say I roomed with someone who has been on Leno!! Â d
philthephorce Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Funny as hell!!! Â Jay started the "tanking" of that piece by offering to show his clip before you finished your lines. You were brilliant in continuing on about the Mentalist...lol
bigstevet07 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 That was awesome! Jay screwed it up by talking about his show before you could finish though.
sfne2005 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I remember at the beginning of your road show how hard Scott, Rick and I tried so hard to have you go up and get interviewed while at SFOG. And you voluntarily wanted to be interviewed on national TV? Â That went as well as can be expected coming from you Mike.
DenDen Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 OMFG! This is awesome! This is what I love about TPR, you just never know where you'll find people that are here. Â Good Going Mike!!!!!!
PhantomNick Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Kudos Mike on making the big time! That was freaking awesome, and it totally cracked me up!! Â And who knows, maybe you'll end up as one of those regulars with a bit on the show......that is, so long as it doesn't interfere with coaster riding and the Big Mike Road Show!
dandaman Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I literally did a spit-take with my soda when I saw Big Mike appear miraculously before me at 11:45 at night. That was AWESOME.
nagro5 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 How neat is this! Too bad Jay had to cut you off before you could mention TPR. Congrats, it's not everyday that you get to be on Jay Leno.
coasterdude5 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Awesome! It'd be cool to be on the tonight show.
the ghost Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 That was great, although I like Letterman a little better than Leno. Awesome job Mike.
Guy T. Koepp Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Big Mike, giving coaster enthusiasts a good name everywhere he goes. Â Very funny!
carolinacaniac Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Looks like a good time on the show! I always thought it would be cool to see the Tonight Show live.
Chris Benvenuto Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Wow, that Leno clip was funny. Stats on getting a minute and a half of fame just about! Â Good Job Mike!
thrillgeek Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 That was great Big Mike! That had me laughing so hard. It's ok to be nervous on national T.V. Like everyone else has been saying too bad Jay cut you off. He can be so rude sometimes
TheRapidsNerd Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Big Mike, you're going out there and living the dream of doing what you really want to do in life. How many people can truly say that, let alone have the freedom to follow their own quest, AND talk about it on Leno! Â Cool to see you on Leno and congrats, friend.
Y2J2003Y2J Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Its great you got on and got to be apart of the show! But I found Jay's comments to be offensive. He shouldn't be stereotyping the age of who rides roller coasters. I think that was very dumb on his part. I probably won't watch him ever again.
astroworldfan1 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 ^ That was a joke. I found it funny. Â -Tatum
TheRapidsNerd Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Leno's always had a sarcastic sense of humor. He even jumped on the Battle Bots bandwagon years ago with his "Chinkilla" bot. Half joke on himself and the sport, half serious. He'd be a good fit here at TPR. Â Cool segment, it just doesn't have the same zing without the yellow shirt.
Groteslurf Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 This thread should be called the Big Mike Stunt Show as from now on. Â You are really amazing
CHILLERLC1 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Great clip. When I saw the description of Jay I thought they interviewed you at Universal Citywalk and you said something outrageous enough to get on the show. This is better.
