I was born, raised and currently reside about three miles away from SFMM. I even worked there in '03 and '04, mostly on Psyclone and Ninja.

That said, I'm going to be one of the few that actually misses Psyclone. Ride wasn't too bad when you knew how to ride it defensively.

Sincerely,

R.C.

But, would you really rather not have a new GCI?

My home parks

Knotts

Disneyland

Wild Rivers Auto Park-employee for two seasons.

SFMM about 1.5 hours away.

You make a good point.

I guess it's just nostalgia, really. I had a lot of fun working that ride and I guess, after the nearly a year I worked it, I kind of grew fond of Psyclone. I rode it well over two thousand times in the year and a half I was at the park and one day, I rode it forty times in a row without getting off.

But, that said, I'm excited for Terminator. The layout looks absolutely beautiful and I'm sure that, given the chance, I'll be fond of that ride as well.

Sincerely,

R.C.

P.S. -- The secret to Psyclone was to keep the lap bar a bit loose and to not tighten up like most people tried to. You had to ride that ride defensively.

Williamsburg VA

Busch Gardens - 5 min

VA Beach Motor World - 1 hour (depending on traffic)

King's Dominion - 1 hour

I'm currently stuck with going to Busch simply because its closer. I really want to visit KD sometine this season, but I doubt I'll be able to go.

Glendale, CA

assuming light traffic:

Universal Studios Hollywood - 10 minutes

Six Flags Magic Mountain - 25 minutes

Knott's Berry Farm - 40 minutes

Disneyland Resort - 45 minutes

I go to DL the most, with frequent visits to SFMM and KBF and rare visits to USH.

I live about 10 minutes from Carowinds. It is actually on my way home from work which makes it really convenient to stop by on my way home.

I also grew up going to Disney World on an every other year basis, so I consider that my home away from home park.
