My local park is also my workplace for the next and past couple years. Six Flags St. Louis. I live about 22 miles from it in south STL County. It's a fun job, working there. My department is Rides Area 2, which is Screamin' Eagle, Mine Train, Tidal Wave, C-Flats, and BB Flats. Fun job, 09 will be my third season.

In sydney -

it was Australia's Wonderland for over 10 years then they ran it into the ground and closed it down and sold off the land to build LG factories....

so I moved to the Gold Coast and has Warner Bros Movie World and Dreamworld for a while and now I am back in Sydney I don't have one.... I a still have a year and a half left on my 2yr Dreamworld pass though so I will be back up there every now and then

but I am going to California in June and most lieky getting an annual pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain as I will be over there at least 3 times this year ..

Well I guess USH is the local park for all of us valley kids, but considering I've only been there once, and I've been to SFMM approximately a million times, I will go ahead an say that is my home park. Final answer

My local part is Canada's Wonderland... therefore, I am desperate to get to some different parks.

... At least we have Behemoth.

it's not that bad is it ? I've never been but might be coming in September...

is it worth going ?

^^ It's a great park, overall above average. But it lacks in the ride department a little bit. Many of the rides are kind of "blah", un-original and/or painful rides dominate the park, but things have been looking up since CF took over. You should definitely come visit, it's a great visitor friendly park, and Behemoth is more than worth it, but when you've been there and done that around the park it gets a little boring.

I am a Michigan native from Grand Rapids. So I am near Muskegon; hence Michigan's Adventure is my homestate park!

Wow, I'm pretty surprised, looking at the results. Even with as many Coaster enthusiasts there are on the East coast, I really thought TPR would have more on the West. TPR seems to be one of the very few coaster sites that have a lot of West Coast members, but also a ton of members from other places making it just that much better

I live in Huntsville, Alabama, aka "The South".

My home park would be Southern Adventures, and a family entertainment center, 5 minutes from my flat.

Alabama Adventure (Visionland) is 2 hours away

What's left of Opryland is 2 hours away

Six Flags over Georgia is 3 hours away

Columbus, OH (home); Dayton, OH (school)

Home park would be Zoombezi Bay in Columbus, though Kings Island is my "home" park when I'm at school.

Right now I don't live within a close distance of any park, but I used to live about an hour from Six Flags Marine World (Discovery Kingdom).

Most likely I'm going to go to college in San Diego within the next year so I'll be close to all of the parks down there.

Gröna Lund, Stockholm = 1 hour by aeroplane.

Liseberg, Gothemburg/Göteborg = 25 hours by train.

Liseberg is also my all-time favourite park so far. Been there like 20 times or more, and I just can't get enough! Can't wait for the 2009 season!

I guess my home park would be Holiday World or Indiana Beach but I've been to SF Great America many more times & I'm starting to fall in love with KI. Beast + Diamondback = heaven (hopefully)
