Beni_Rodriguez
Boss @ SFSTL. I rode it once this year and vowed to never get on it again. By far the roughest wooden roller coaster I have been on.

bigcoasterfan
Possibly Hero at Flamingo Land, its incredibly rough. I actually like Hero, thought it was pretty cool and not really very rough. My vote would goto countless boring oval kiddie coasters... haven't found too many full sized coasters that I really dis-like. Most of my worst coasters are small boring ones, not problem with Vekomas or other ones listed predominately in this list.
rcdude
After riding it this summer, I'm going with the Python at Coney Island in Cincinnati. That thing was not good. For a general type, the basic Arrow Corkscrew model is probably the worst. I generally don't consider kiddie coasters for this type of question, but if they were included I'd pick Beech Bend's Dragon (or the powered Miner Mike at my local Boomers). GwaziBSRider1
^ The sad part is that's one of the smoother Volares. The one at the nearby Rye Playland is much worse.

Oh my god yes, beech bends dragon is terrible, it should be classified as a thrill ride purely on its roughness.
mikeslagy
Tomb Raider/The Crypt from Kings Island. I have no idea how it managed to operate for 10 years. Oh wait.....now I remember. it only operated for half a season each year because it was always broken down. and once paramount sold the park, it got even worse. Funny how its the only GIANT Top Spin ever built. I guess the learned their lesson before the started to really market these.
YOLO
Corkscrew at Cedar Point is B&M; Brutal and Monotonous.
nicman
I liked Blue Streak quite a bit when I rode it last year. It's a lot better than Mean Streak and Mantis, and a better ride than Gatekeeper. How can Blue Streak be better than Gatekeeper!?!

How can Blue Streak be better than Gatekeeper!?! I prefer Blue Streak to Gatekeeper, too--good, old-school airtime on that woodie, and I'm not a big fan of the B&M Wing Coasters. It's got my vote for worst coaster. It's more of a torture device than a roller coaster.

IntaminLove
How can Blue Streak be better than Gatekeeper!?! I assume that you haven't been to Cedar Point so I will base my response on that. Blue Streak may not look like much, but it's an airtime machine. It's underrated and it's still a lot of fun even when it's rough. I like Gatekeeper, but Blue Streak packs a bigger punch. My vote for worst coaster is Wildcat at Hersheypark. There is nothing enjoyable about this ride whatsoever.
djcoastermark
^I have to agree, Blue Streak packs some punch. I know a lot of people bypass this ride and sort of scoff at it. But ,yes, it is a fun retro ride. It's too bad it doesn't still run with the old PTC trains with buzz bars only, no head rests and no seatbelts. Now that was when it really ran crazy. In the 1960's it was what catapulted CP to what it is now. Still good fun to this day.

Genx24
^ Back row, left side, back against the seat. It wasn't rough, but the vibrations I was getting went up and down my spine and ruined my back for a good portion of the day. If it's one of the smoother SLC's, I shudder to think how awful some of the others might be.

Nrthwnd
My worst one, which also involved bad timing, was the SLC at Walibi Holland. (I have blocked it's name from my mind.) I believe it was the first one built? Whatever, as soon as I came off of it, I straightened everything back together, and made sure my head was intact, and headed out the Exit proclaiming... Best! Ride! Ever! Not! Unfortunately, Robb had been interviewing somebody from the park at the exit gate, and I walked right into it, saying what I said. Immediately, I realized what was going on, and slunk away from them, ASAP! Needless to say, I am sure Robb didn't keep that piece of video, lol. But it was still a painful, awful ride, and I do not intend to re-ride it when I get back there next September. Ginny and Jeff, with me on the 2008 TPR Europe Tour, in Walibi Holland and "That SLC" in the background. )o:
andybarnes84
I may have mentioned this before but after hundreds of coasters around the World I'll never forget my ride on Tornado at M&Ds near Glasgow (Scotland) and that was AFTER they had removed the "corkscrew" (and yes there was a little blood, never a good souvenir!) This coaster is just so wrong in so many ways! Pinfari should never have dared to go above 36ft, gimme an SLC any day!
TheHalonSystem
I've gotta go with Mean Streak. It was quite rough, and on top of that, the layout was totally boring and forceless. The train squeaks around the curves, and overall it's just not a good coaster. I hope CP does something with it soon, whether tear it down, refurb, RMC, etc. When did you ride it? Because it had a refurb in 2012 and it's actually quite enjoyable now. Here are what my cons are for Mean Streak. 1. The retracking barely help at all. 2. It feels slow, and that is due to the large elements. 3. Absolutely no airtime at all. If I had to make a top 16 coasters at Cedar Point, Mean Streak would go in #13 Weird, maybe when I rode it in 2013 they had the trims off. I hear lots of people complain about this ride but I never have found this coaster rough. I personally think Corkscrew is worse.
