Welp, it's officially been a week since the derby, thought it would have been announced by now.

I know, I was expecting the announcement to come in the days following the derby, I guess i'm just impatient.

Halloween event would be cool. I personally think that Louisville has enough haunts already though. Unless something really unique is created I don't see a point in building standard amusement park "mazes"

When I went a week ago there were a bunch of young kids working in the Kringle cafe

I know I'm hyped

The last time I rode vortex it was shit, I love many arrow coasters such as magnum but vortex didn't have many redeeming qualities. I just got off nauseous and beaten.

So I was thinking about possible names for the GCI, and I think it is possible that the beast theme could continue. The coaster could be called son of beast again but I just thought of a great name that sounds completely plausible. What do you guys think about the name Spawn of Beast? In my opinion it sounds perfect and when I thought of it something immediately clicked.
