BDG Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Danish coaster enthusiast Kian was given a tour of the area by the parks CEO. All credit for the photos and information to him! "This is a brand new generation of trains from Zierer that Djurs is the first to get. They're more comfortable and look much better in my opinion. The trains was one of my concerns with them choosing Zierer so this was nice to see." Both Dragon coasters at Legoland Malaysia (2012) and Huracan at Bellewaerde (2013) have the exact same seats & restraints... © TPR / CoasterFEV © Legoland Malaysia © pretparkkriebels.be ...but the ones at Djurs seem to be using different wheel assemblies. © Legoland Malaysia
SharkTums Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 This all looks great and will really unify the park in being a true 'theme' park.
linearinduction Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 The only difference I see in the Wheel Housings are that the Larger Force Coasters have 2 Safety Wheels instead of 1. Otherwise, besides some additional bracing, the Housings are Identical.
cfc Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Djurs Sommerland will always be cool as long as they keep this. It's tough to beat a monkey water skiing behind a crocodile.
Barge84 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 ^ That ride should never be taken out! This new area looks like it's going to be a great addition to the park. I really liked Djurs when I was there last summer. Kind of a hidden gem that only gets recognized for Piraten. Back to the discussion about wheel assemblies...
Meteornotes Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 This is amazing. I must travel here just to take Ice Bat's photo in front of this. dt
cfc Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 ^It looks like a scene from a porn version of Fantastic Mr. Fox.
BrownStreak Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 The characters on those new rides remind me of BonBonland
cfc Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 ^They do have a bit of a Bon Bon Land vibe--minus the farting and vomiting.
StealthFan Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 ^Totally agree it looks really good! This park is expanding at a really rapid rate and its great to see them doing so well. Also they manage to have an operating Topple Tower still which is mind blowing even if the ride itself is just so very very dumb.
StealthFan Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 The whole area looks fantastic and completely unrecognisable from what it was before. This park just keeps going from strength to strength and its great to see!
Nrthwnd Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Man, I wish I had a kids' area like this... when I was a kid. It all looks fantastic, with a lot of great photo ops for families.
_koppen Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Today is opening day! Here's the last four attractions!
azza29 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Looks really good, thanks for the update. I knew very little about Djurs before visiting last summer, and it was surprisingly awesome. Great to see them improving even more!
viking86 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Looks fantastic! Love the various expressions on the animals, particularly the coaster train. It makes me giggle every time!
gerstlaueringvar Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Does this one have one of those wheel chair seats?
Nrthwnd Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 On the crazy house (?) ride for the kids there..... Milkshake Fabrik? Just curious what that second word means.
per2012 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Just curious what that second word means. It means Factory
