This ride is looking amazing! I really like the color of this ride, and once the trains are rolling, it's going to look even better!

I'd just like to add that with B&M hypers (especially new ones) the max angle of descent is usually a very small section of track (like right before the pullout begins). And when I say small, I'm talking like no more than 3 ft of track, so it is highly probable that the angle of the drop does reach 85*, but we just can't see it very good.

UPDATE! (yes, with photos!) coasterguy77 on CWMania has taken these wonderful pictures. I've just quoted the whole post to make everyone's life easier. Enjoy!

"Ok, here it is! We had to go through all those houses around Wonderland, around a pond, over a bridge and across a field, but we made it

It is absolutely MASSIVE in real life. We got through the houses and all that, and then when we got out of them, Behemoth is just sticking out, dominating EVERYTHING. It was awesome.

Anyway, here are some pics of the track so far!

Here's some track and supports, the turnaround area has got supports! There is also some track for the last sections of the second hill waiting to be put up.

This pic of the second hill shows the supports for the next hill that's gonna be parallel to it, they're progressing so fast!!

One pic of station construction, I was too far away to notice any details of anything new that happened.

And, one pic of the steepest part of the drop. Now the whole 85 degree arguement can be done with!

Aha, what does everybody think of it now? Not 85, but it looks INSANE anyways.

So that's the update, enjoy the pics everyone!" -coasterguy 77 on CWMania

^^Awesome report, the ride really does look huge! I never noticed how close the second and third camelbacks would be together until I saw the supports. The ride should be amazing.

it looks as if the drops are concave down more proportionally than other BnM hypers

that means

more airtime and more +Gs at the bottom of the drops

does anyone else see this?

B&M must have felt the need to change the design for some reason. It makes the trains narrower and longer. Whether its to do with just putting a new design out there, or there is some other technial reason for it, I don't personally see the problem.

The seats are pretty close together if you look at the renderings from page one. I'd guess at 2 to 3 feet apart. Thats not much different from being on the opposite ends of a couch.

The two passengers that get the end seats will get no conversation.

If you want to have a conversation while riding, then sit in the middle two seats.

I'm typically too busy enjoying the ride itself to worry about talking to someone.

The stadium seating could make for a better view from the outside seats, as well as more airtime.

Coasters are my favorite place to have a conversation. I love shouting to my friends about what I did last weekend or about the weather while traveling at 70 mph. It just makes the conversation so much more understandable.

C'mon dude, get real. The new trains have some perks (the feeling of being out in the open while more than 20 stories in the air), and some downfalls (less capacity, split groups), but that doesn't make them bad.

I don't either. But I think the hills look oddly shaped. It is probably for the longer train cars.

I though the point was to make you feel very exposed and give everyone a good view, like stadium seating you get on Intamin launch coasters

Major update! Apparently the station will have an ELEVATOR, yes, an ELEVATOR! Italian Job will have a new queue entrance. They will also be widening the midway by Sledge Hammer and Orbiter. Orbiter will also have a new queue line. Dan (the admin) on CWMania has the privilege of getting behind the scenes access with the park's Public Relations person and the construction manager. Anyways, here's the links to the pictures. Enjoy!

I hate the trains on this coaster. It seems completely unnecessary. The two passengers that get the end seats will get no conversation. I don't know why they changed it from the original hypercoaster trains. I thought they were just fine.

And in the old school B&M trains they would?

In this case you just don't have to talk across 2 other people between you.

How else would you expect wheel chairs to get up to the station?

It won't be an elevator for the normal line.

Awesome update though. The ride is sure coming along.

Most rides at the park have exit ramps which guests with disabilities can use. There will probably be stairs to and from the station, which is most likely why an elevator will be used. It just feels unusual because no other ride in the park has an elevator.
