We have to pass going this year due to finances so thanks for rubbing salt in the wound! It's such an incredible time to visit the park. No exaggeration in that some of our best family memories are at SDC in November; the first time my daughter rode Outlaw Run was at night during the festival and it just doesn't get any better than that.

Great report! Christmas in Midtown looks insane!

It really is. I've been going to Old Time Christmas since it started, and this is the best it's ever been. There were so many people in Midtown, and the lights were truly impressive. They went all out for this.

Has anyone heard if Time Traveller will be opening when the park opens for the season in March? I am planning a family trip up to SDC during the first week they are open, while my kids are on spring break. It will be our first visit to SDC and looking forward to it either way.

It is the plan for Time Traveler to open with the park. Stuff can and does happen, but usually rides are ready to go. I believe River Blast in 2010 ws the last time one didn't make opening day.

While I was at the park Wednesday I took a few pics of the Time Traveler crews installing the cars onto the track. To be honest, I haven’t been following this forum too often lately so I have no idea if this is new info. But if it is, here you go!

Wow those vehicles look a whole lot bigger than I expected! I wonder when it will start testing? Surely soon. I hope they do what they did with Outlaw Run and have a lot of local media document the first test.

I can't deal with the stupidity that is this comment.

 

That wasn’t taped any time in the last 5 -6 weeks because it’s winter in North America and in that video the trees are all green.

 

Like, are they oblivious to the fact that it's the freaking animation?!?!? God people are ignorant.
