Woodie Warrior
There needs to be a divider of some sort between Harry Potter and Simpsons. It looks terrible right now. The interiors of the restaurants look really nice though. They seem to be better themed than the ones in Orlando, especially Krusty Burger and Cletus's Chicken Shack. Unfortunately USH doesn't have the luxury of space like Florida. While it's not ideal, I think it looks fine overall and I'm sure the area is still immersive and fun. At the very least, the area is better than what it was before. And I have no doubt that when it comes to HP outside sight lines will be minimal or nonexistent. BugEyed
A snow covered turret poking out here and there over sunny Springfield is kind of cool, in a Daliesque sort of way.
cfc
I'm only seeing one photo on the previous page in which Hogsmeade is visible from Springfield (an outdoor seating area with umbrella tables). Maybe I'm just not as sensitive as others, but it doesn't bother me. Edited March 30, 2015 by cfc
Nrthwnd
I'd think of it as back-to-back sets in a big Hollywood studio.
PeoplemoverMatt
Jarring transitions are nothing new in theme parks. Being able to see Hogwarts from Jurassic Park in Orlando never turned out to be a devastating problem. Springfield in Orlando was pretty darn awesome. HUGE improvement over the hokey "International Food Court" whatever that was there before. This one looks even better than Orlando's! I'll miss Doc Brown's but that was far more past its time than Springfield could be. At least new Simpsons episodes are still being made.

COASTERelic
I'd think of it as back-to-back sets in a big Hollywood studio. Very well said. If anyone expects anything more than go to a Disney Park. Just like when there are complaints about to many motion type simulator rides/attractions....why wouldn't you expect that from a movie studio? DoubleDown
While it looks nice and all, I mean, it's just food and drink. It's also for something that's 10 years too late, honestly. Am I missing something here? The Simpsons is timeless, therefore, could NEVER be too late as an addition IMO. I am a huge Simpsons fan and absolutely love what they've done with everything. Great attention to detail, very immersive sets, and some very unique ideas to bring the entire area to life. A great way to take what was already there, which did have the "out of date" vibe to it, and update it while expanding the rides theme into an entire area around the attraction. Not one complaint from me at all. Can't wait to try a Krusty Burger and some Duff! Thanks for the Pics Jew!
Woodie Warrior
I wasn't complaining about the area itself. The restaurants' interiors look awesome, and I love the other facades they built to go behind them, like Springfield Elementary. It looks far better themed than Orlando's area, which already looked nice. The only tiny complaint I have is the huge contrast between Springfield and Hogsmeade. It is a way bigger contrast than the one between Jurassic Park and Hogsmeade over at IoA. That being said, it looks that you can only see it in one tiny area, so it probably isn't as big of a deal as I made it out to be in my original post. Anyways... Is anyone else noticing there seems to be less coverage of construction at both Universal resorts than there used to be? I mean, when Transformers was being built at USO, we got a new pic every day of what was going on. Nowadays, huge additions spring up with very little fanfare. It's not just TPR I'm talking about. Jew
Well, in the case of USH...The Simpsons construction is WAY more exciting than WWoHP since we've seen that all before. So I had no reason to post any other pictures. Also, the Taco Truck is now open! Very sweet marinade on the Carnitas.

Gnome
It's amazing how comcast's core business (Internet and cable services) customer satisfaction is at an all time low and their theme parks are doing quite well and I'd even say exceeding expectations. I think that's just the nature of the two businesses. Nobody goes through life without having an issue with their cable companies. On the flip side, almost everyone goes through life wanting to visit a major theme park like Universal or Disney!
Philrad71
Personally, I think that this is a great addition for USH - thank you for posting, Joey! I LOVE the Simpson's area at Universal Florida - I am a fan from way back in the Tracey Ullman days, so yeah...it never gets old for me. I would think the fact that the series is still going strong, the popularity of Tapped Out and the constant reruns on FX now that they may pull in a lot of new, younger fans in addition to the older folks that have been watching the show for 20+ years. But if I had to choose between great Internet and sub par themeparks, or the scenario we've got now, I'll take that! Also thanks for the update. Can't wait to get back to USH.
