I was thinking the same thing, also I get the feeling that some people did some pretty ungodly things while sitting at their computer looking at that page.

This is going to be a beautiful ride.

 

It's interesting that Cedar Point is getting this coaster in the post-Kinzel era. I remember reading an interview where Kinzel said Cedar Point would never get a B&M flyer because it was too gimmicky. I wonder if Kinzel would have nixed this coaster type, too? The wing coaster is pretty much the only logical choice for Cedar Point from the B&M catalog, and should at minimum provide some beautiful ocean views and a fun, smooth ride.

 

 

I've also heard that you'll be able to see Canada across the ocean on a clear day!

^ Actually the lift hill is facing southeast so unless you can turn your head all the way around, I don't think you will be seeing Canada on Gatekeeper anytime soon.

I think he was making fun of the fact that someone referred to lake Erie as an "ocean". You're reading too far into this.
