P. 2037: Siren’s Curse tilt coaster announced for 2025!

More vertical track in place!! That's the last fully vertical piece of track for the drop. The next piece is the has the curve in it!

By "curve" you mean the slight bend after the holding brake, right? That is the piece with the support bracket underneath. The holding brake doesn't have any support points.

The views of the back of the park and then the East side of the park from the top is going to be unreal on this coaster!

I mean, I love the views of Tampa on Sheikra and you can pretty much see parts of Chesapeake Bay from Griffon...but this is going to be awesome to see two different parts of the park and Lake Erie from the top.

Can't wait!

"Curve" ... "Bend" ... Same thing to me. But yes, I was referring to the track after the holding brake that has the slight curve in it. Not th holding brake it's self.

Another piece of the drop is going up. I got a kick out of watching the crew basket and the track piece go up at the same time lol. This is probably the last piece for the day.

Don't worry... I got a kick out of watching the crew basket and the track go up at the same time.

New piece almost in place!!!

That. Drop. Is. Massive.

Indeed! And it has a nice long vertical section.

I agree. The vertical section incredibly long on the webcam... I can't imagine how big it's going to look in person!

The best part about the views is that the train travels so slowly around the turn at the top that there is going to be plenty of time to take in the views! It's going to by far have one of the best views of any coaster!

The drop does truly look fantastic, that is the largest vertical drop on a coaster that isn't TTD or KK. It should be very fun, I LOVE Griffon and SheiKra!

This is off topic but Tower of Terror and Superman Escape from Krypton have an incredible ability to make people completely forget they exist. It's really unheard of how much nobody cares about or acknowledges them.

I didn't forget about them, I just hardly consider them "vertical drops", they're spikes. And up until a few years ago, you couldn't even ride them facing down. Also, I just remembered Karnan is a bit bigger than Valravn, so there's another one.

I agree with you. I hardly consider the spike on Tower of Terror, or Superman ... or any Reverse Free Fall Coaster a "drop."

----------------

The point is... Valravn's vertical drop is one of the the largest vertical drops out there... and there is no doubt that it's going to deliver a great ride experience.

Does anyone know why they would put the two small supports up that come after the immelmann?

I'm just guessing but I think it was probably something that they could do to stay ahead of schedule while they were waiting for the large crane to be shipped to the park

I was thinking the same thing. They needed something to do while waiting on the larger crane to show up, this was something smaller, and closer to the ground that they could handle with the smaller cranes they had at the time.
