Valravn was 3 hours in early June. I'm still questioning why I decided to wait that long....

I went to the park for the first time yesterday; the weather was absolutely perfect. Fury exceeded my expectations (which were already high!). Definitely my new favorite steel! I was surprised to find that the park wasn't busy at all, despite it being a Saturday. Maybe I'm just used to Cedar Point.....

I'll be heading to KI in June/July, and I got to say, I'm more excited for Mystic Timbers than I thought I would be when it was first announced. I have a feeling it's going to be epic. Still can't help but wonder about the shed, though.

^That would be nice for a change. It doesn't quite seem to go with Cedar Point's "style", though.

T3, to me at least, is the utter definition of hell.

Although I hated riding Mean Streak itself, it was always a great thing to see. Something about its presence was....nice. I've always liked how it was kind of "hidden" and hard to see right off the bat. That may be a factor of why I like The Beast so much too--except The Beast is actually a good ride.

I love seeing the coasters, other rides etc. when I'm driving to a park. For example, Cedar Point's skyline to me is always an amazing thing to see before actually entering the park.

The people complaining about what Cedar Point has to offer for 2017 (which is actually probably going to be a decent attraction) obviously haven't been to Michigan's Adventure yet.

Well it does go 120 mph up the tower, and then 120 mph back down it.... Indeed. Mind=blown.

^Ride times nowadays are only 3+ hours on weekends (with some exceptions). During the average weekday they usually aren't more than an hour for each ride and waits for GateKeeper and Raptor are almost nonexistent later in the day. However, I see what you're saying--waiting for Maverick in 90 degree weather is never fun (although the ride itself is fantastic).

Was at my local fair the other day when someone said that Top Thrill Dragster goes 240 mph. Yeah, not quite.

So, the first time I rode GateKeeper, I loved it (who didn't?), but now that I've been on it so much, it keeps getting more "forceless". No, I'm not saying it's a bad coaster by any stretch, but now I seem to enjoy it more for the view than for the coaster itself. Anybody else feel this way?

Heading to the park on Wednesday. I'm not much of a waterpark-person so I'll probably just marathon ride Shivering Timbers.

Planning on going to the park in September on a Saturday (preferably on the 10th), and I'm wondering how busy the park typically is during that time.

I kind of get Knoebels but not Kings Island. In fact, Kings Island was better than I thought it was going to be. Great atmosphere, pretty good theming (for a Cedar Fair park, anyway), and generally good rides. Anyway, I have to say that Holiday World is overrated.

I was flying from Washington DC to Detroit the other day, and I got a great surprise when I realized we were flying right over Cedar Point! This certainly isn't the highest-quality photo, but I thought it would be worth sharing nonetheless. Now I feel like I've seen Cedar Point from all angles

I think Michigan's Adventure will get some new ride in 2017 or 2018, maybe even a flat ride(s). They're due for a thrill ride (and have been for 8 years), roller coaster or not.

The security was like that when I went a couple days ago. Thankfully it only took about 2 minutes.

Imagine if MiA randomly announced that they were going to get a nice B&M of some sort. That would be heaven. Not that it'll ever happen....but a coaster enthusiast can dream!

Hit the back of the park first. GateKeeper, Raptor, Valravn etc. are very busy during the morning hours. However, if you're planning on getting Fast Lane Plus, you won't have to worry so much about lines on the busy coasters, so it wouldn't matter much. Valravn, Maverick, GateKeeper,and Top Thrill Dragster all require Fast Lane Plus (while the other coasters are obviously fine with just normal Fast Lane). The park isn't busy on Tuesdays or Wednesdays anyway. My personal favorite ride at CP is Millennium Force. Definitely ride it! Cedar Point is quite similar to other Cedar Fair parks except there are more coasters/rides (obviously) and it's busier, so you shouldn't have much of a problem. Enjoy your time there! Thanks so much! Do you know how long each line will be? Would I be able to ride every main coaster and a couple flats in one day? It depends on if you get Fast Lane or not. If you do, then yes, you definitely will be able to. If you don't, then you might if you're efficient timing wise.

I went to the park yesterday with my father and we got Fast Lane Plus (for the first time). Considering we rode rides over 30 times, it was certainly worth it, and the park wasn't terribly busy anyway. Diamondback, The Beast and Banshee were as good as always. I can't wait to see (exactly) what KI has in store for next year. I don't believe anything until it's all officially announced
