What's Everyone Doing For Labor Day Weekend?

I know those in the Mid-Atlantic and NE may get a rainy weekend due to Ernesto, but who has plans? Who's going to a park? Anybody have a big trip planned?

 

Can't wait to see Photo TR's!

 

Robb and I are going on a quick weekend getaway to a mystery location!

MFI on monday. Though it's supposed to be Sunny and 70 degrees, so the park will probably be closed due to weather conditions.

Plans fell through to be at the Miami-FSU game. That'll be the first time I haven't been at the big game in ages. Oh well, the consolation prize is WhiteWater in the ATL for us (thanks to a friend ). Possible Photo TR to follow.

I'll be working overtime with holiday pay for the next few days, so no complaints here. Money's going to get a new camera for my next trips.

I get to LIFEGUARD A PARTY!!!!! Actually probably not, since my town is currently being penetrated by Ernesto. Even if the party isnt on we have to close down the pool for winter so as the evil snow bunnies dont ravage the pool and make it look terrible like they did last year..

Other than that I'm helping a friend move and celebrating my Dad's birthday (seperately).

I'm not doing anything fun this weekend!

Carl and I will be at the California State Fair the next 4 nights. We're doing the fireworks for the "Pop Rocks" show inside the park. Normally we do the big aerial show, but this year they changed it up with theatrical fireworks around a stage in a lagoon, and then a smaller aerial show from a parking lot.

 

So anybody hanging out at the fair the next 4 evenings stop by and say Hi! For those that don't know, it should be easy to spot Carl, he's 6'7", and we'll be wearing our pyro shirts looking for some greasy food to eat!

OK, you guys want the play by play? Well, today I am going to get a hair cut. Then this weekend I'll be doing lots of homework and lesson planning, and helping my friend move into her apartment. Monday I'll be riding the Silver Comet with my favorite Canabian.

As myself, I will be cleaning gutters, spraying weeds with Roundup,and working on my home's foundation. I'll be sure to take pictures though.

Ted and I are hitting up Six Flags Over Texas, Fiesta Texas and Sea World Texas then hitting a 6am flight to make it home in time for my volleyball game! I'm sure he'll do a Photo TR

But wait! On the day after Labor Day, we're heading down to O-town (with our three adopted Russian students) for a week or so of park hopping and mom visiting.

Someone asked me about it this morning. He couldn't believe I've ridden almost 130 coasters. He was like WOW!!! that's a lot!!

Oh nothing big, this weekend we went to Blackpool and next week we're flying to Japan... no biggy.

I shall be working at Adventureland in Farmingdale, NY Sat (rainout?) Sun and pull a nice 14 hour day on Mon.

I get to see the failure of a minor-league baseball team play a game tomorrow (oh wait, they're on the playoffs? Cool!), I finally get to go to Hersheypark on Sunday, and go back to the Lakewood Blueclaws to see the last game of the season on Monday. Exciting, eh?

I might go to Dorney or Hershey on Monday because I feel Labor Day will have less crowds (went to Hershey 2 years ago and crowds were somewhat light).
