SonOfBeastSucks Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Waoh, I totally forgot about this... Looks good, and finally a real excuse to go to that park/part of the country.
jimths08 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 New update on my site. www.coastercravers.com/valleyfair-2007-center.html Lift's coming down quickly along with the finale turn. Big thanks to EBAR from VFFORUM for the pictures.
Sticky Nicky Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 A little off topic abit but does any one know if Valleyfair is having coaster craze again this year? Renegade is coming up so fast and thestation is right next to the walkway to Excalibur and Raging Rapids. Can;t wait till may 12th
coasterdude5 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Looks like they're coming along, the drop is even better than I expected, I hope I get to ride it somehow.
steel Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 A little off topic abit but does any one know if Valleyfair is having coaster craze again this year? Why wouldn't they? They had it again last year and it was only few weeks before PresCon.
crazyrider06 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 omg that looks so awesome.. with all the trips i have already started planning, im hoping that i can squeeze this trip in to so i can get some more credits!
the_rock401 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 Why wouldn't they? They had it again last year and it was only few weeks before PresCon. The week before, actually. Coaster Craze has been an event that has drawn a nice-sized crowd. Heck, the lunch itself was worth the price of admission. The addition of Renegade might be the thing that blows Coaster Craze wide open as far as popularity goes. Paul
jimths08 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 www.coastercravers.com/valleyfair-2007-center.html New update showing the transfer track, and some of the small turns and hills around the station. Photo credit goes to VFFORUM. I really love the finale bunny hop. Looks to have a nice pop of air and laterals.

Vffreak07 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 This looks hott. And yes, those pics deserve 2 t's.
kraken613 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Do you think this will give Thunderhead at Dollywood a run for its money?
Thrillrider15 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 ^ I'd doubt it just a tad bit. But you never know. It could. I'm really looking forward to give this ride a go. I'd doubt Renegade won't be worth it.
CP_RULES Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Another update! It looks like the circuit is complete and tracking is finishing up! Me likes the look of it! That's going to be one insane first drop! So.... Much...... FUN! Headchoppers? Yes please! http://www.valleyfair.com/public/information/photo_galleries/index.cfm
ECZenith Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Wow... I'm still not over the madness that is the first drop on this ride! Looks like the common trend of 2007 is coasters with stunning drops as their feature element. *Mystery Mine, Maverick, Renegade, Griffon...
Théo the little french Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 This ride is so big!! And it takes so much place!!
Sticky Nicky Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Dang, I was in Shakopee for my Piano Exams today and was going to stop by the park because I had a feeling the trains would come today but I forgot about it. At least I got to see the park from an ariel view on my way home.
snorkymn Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I think it opens the weekend of the 12th.. I'm going to try to get out there either Saturday or Sunday for at least a little while. Should be fun. Anyone else going?
CP_RULES Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Yet another update, you gotta love 'em! I spy TRACK! Looks like this thing is going to be done in time after all! There's airtime to be had on this beast! The entrance? Aaaah, the trains have arrived. Looks comfy. Really comfy! It almost looks like a sofa! http://www.valleyfair.com/public/information/photo_galleries/index.cfm
hemmy Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 LOL that is like a lazyboy. I have yet to ride any intamin or GCI woodies sadly. I was just at Valleyfair last summer too. Good park, but with this ride there that will be a nice addition.
coasterlover04 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Man, I can't wait for Coaster Craze in July. The ERT on Renegade is going to be sweet!
Jew Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 There's airtime to be had on this beast! It's a GCI, so...not so much. Sucks, too, since airtime is the one thing keeping GCI rides from being REALLY good. They got the whole speed/twists/lateral forces/comfy trains thing nailed.
