Heide Park Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

It's longer than Oblivion but the drop on Oblivion is quite a bit higher and it's overall a bigger ride, with wider track gauge and trains. The track is huge when you stand up close to it at the point where it goes underground. Seeing these pictures of Krake reminds me of seeing Oblivion being constructed when I was a kid and not knowing what it was going to be...

Germany already has some amazing roller coasters, looks like this is going to be another one

Looks awesome!! But it looks simple. By the angle of the pictures, I can't tell if there is going to be a Immelmann loop or not. Looks like just a steep turn down to some air hills and then back to station. I don't think this diving machine will match up there with the others.

This is one great looking coaster. I've always really wanted to go to this park (perhaps more than any other European park), and this only adds to my craving.

It's amazing to me that this coaster costs more than both SheiKra and Griffon did....I'm not sure if it's just because of inflation or what. As great as it looks, its so much shorter than SheiKra or Griffon and contains like half the elements. It's hard to believe how much B&M rides cost these days. Cheers to the park for at least getting one, regardless of how much smaller it is.

trains...?!

Only six-wide? Finally, some realism in the RCT2 dive machine trains! It doesn't LOOK like the train extends off the side of the pic...

In reality, this does look like a good addition to Heide-Park's lineup. Just another reason for me to wish I could visit...
