metrock
^^ Well this is of course assuming that these kids can even read. Would the rules be in spanish as well?
kayoss
Do you get a discount at either the Cold Stone, Papa Johns, or Johnny Rocket's with a Six Flags Magic Mountain "Xtreme" pass? *crossing fingers*
vedved82491
Yes, I believe with the Xtreme pass you get discounts on food as well as free parking. You get many discounts and offers actually. Same with season passes, just not as much.
coasterdude5
Though it's refreshing to see an old restaurant building made over at Magic Mountain (Johnny Rockets), the whole "walk-up-to-the-counter" approach completely negates the whole Johnny Rockets experience and what the brand is all about. Just my two cents. Â I agree, we used to have a Johnny Rockets in our mall and it was cool the whole "atmosophere" the place had. Each table had its own mini-jukebox, and the place was themed pretty well.
Blazen_AZN
So i finally got my butt back to Magic Mountain after a 5 month absence yesturday. And it felt good to be back. Well, almost good, it would have felt better if we didn't smash into the car infront of us on Magic Mountin Parkway. Â (Teenage drivers really DO suck!) *Rubs head* Â Anyway, I must say, I love the single rider lines! They help a heckload, and now they make alot more sense now that there are groupers. Â Also, has anybody else noticed that the water there turns there shoes different colors? Once i went with brown vans and i cam back with purple vans. I went yesturday with those purple ones and now one of them is black!
arrowfanman
Just to let you guys know, both Johnny Rockets AND the Justice League feast was open today. Â Maybe I'll post a review of my $17 lunch later. Â -Jahan

TriboElectric
I just want to say how happy I am to see they finally have implemented a single rider line for X! As a single rider I was always so upset to be in a 2 hour line and see train after train leave with multiple empty seats! I hope that a single rider line can be implemented on more attractions and in more parks! Thanks sixflags! I will also have to say that I am grateful for the park beautification programs taking place around MM, (Painting, general clean up etc) it is looking so much better then it was a few years back! Keep it up! Thanks again.
coasterguy4
How do the flash passes work? I want to get some for 5 thrill seekers. How many should I buy?
Mr.Six
^ I would only really recommend them on days that the park is very crowded. I believe they now cost $25, and you get 4 ride tickets..and I think some discount off of games. ( Not sure though ). Anyway, you can use each of your four ride tickets for one person, for one ride. So, one person could ride Goliath four times without waiting, or four people can ride Goliath once without waiting. < That's how it works. Â You buy them actually inside the park or I've heard that they also sell them at the main gate now. At the Flash pass center just behind Guest Relations, and at Guest nessessities under Superman close to Food Etc. Â All the majors rides take Flash Pass except Deja vu and X. So, it would be wise to run to X first, then make a round around the park without flash passes. Eat lunch or something, and then go pick some up. Â So yeah like I said, its useful for a really crowded day, but they do drop you a pretty penny. So...use them wisely. _six

Not too bad of a PTR.  I was really pumped in seeing that SFMM has been repainting stuff. (Lines, Rides ETC) But for some odd reason..your report seemed to show to me a lot of the work that STILL needs to be done at the park! *sigh*  Hopefully one day the park will be back up to speed... jdsmartdude911
Hey thanks Ryan. While I did point out alot of things that need work, the park is alot better than it was even a year ago. I guess I just like showing what they need to improve on instead of showing were they're doing great.  One thing that surprised me today is the cell phone issue. I did not see a single park employee on a cell, I thought I did once, but then noticed he was just holding his shades... Now to get the peeps to close the gates behind them... sfmmFREAK
ITS ABOUT F*CKING TIME!!!! I love the single rider option on Deja Vu, and now that its on Riddler's and Ninja, this makes me happy..very happy. Its so awesome that the park has done such a 180 and transformed from a craphole with awesome rides to an actual theme park. I can't wait 'till I get my season pass and finally get to go there again for the first time since january. *Does happy dance.*

RJD
Dude I'm moving from Texas to the Irvine area and I'm getting my season pass to either Knotts or Six Flags in June! It'll probably be Six Flags though. Dude I have yet to ride X or Tatsu or Deja Vu. Just to name a few.
alexinla
Especially after riding Tatsu you know what season pass you will get. SFMM is deffinatly going in the right direction. I went last this week again(try to get as many visits in there as possible before the summer season starts) and had a great time. Â I can see the improvements here and there. Magic Mountain was my first mega park when i moved to the states, so it is clearly close to my heart(well as close as a themepark can get to your heart) and i am happy to see them putting some money into it to improve it
RJD
Change of plans. My mom decided she didn't want to live in Orange County again because we lived there when I was little. So we're moving to West La. Either Malibu or Santa Monica. Probably Santa Monica though because Malibu is a little costly. Anyway. I'll just be happy to say I live in the (good) part of Los Angeles. Although I was really hoping to live in Malibu.
Jew
Remember kids: summer hasn't started yet. Lets see how the park does when there are constant crowds 7 days a week for the next three months...
RJD
Hey hey hey. They have a single rider line. Why you trying to bring a struggling park down?
arrowfanman
^ I think he isn't trying so much to bring the park down as to, I hate to say it, "keep it real". Â Â Joey is keeping it real. He has a point. Last year we all saw huge leaps forward--improvements that were only ruined during summer. Well, just be cautious of that this year. Dont get too proud of these improvements, as they can easily be revoked. Â -Jahan
vedved82491
I think the park was proud to have changes done, but they weren't prepared for the summer chaos, which led to some of the demise. But ever since the later part of the summer season last year, to now, major improvements have taken place, and I believe this year, they will do much better in handling themselves. Rides [most of them] have been running on great capacity and the new single rider lines will greatly improve too. The addition of flashpass to Batman might or might not help. As for service, I hope they don't have hour long lines for Papa Johns or Johney Rockets, but once again it depends on staffing. Â Also, there was a rumor somewhere that "possibly" a few pieces of X's new trains were spotted, so it could be the trains would be ready before we suspected. Who know's everything can be speedy if you want it to. [we just witnessed that with Maverick this past 2 weeks] Â I'm also excited to see Flashback come down this (august?) or fall. Also all the painting is exciting too. I'm still not sure whether S:TE is being painted its original colors or the rumored Blue Red and yellow/white. Either way, it'll be an improvement. Â Go Six Flags Magic Mountain! Â Someone bring a park update! I love park updates.............
