Thanks for the pictures (and also including the guests comments in the report ) I really liked Valleyfair when I visited in 2010 and definitely hope to get back there some day.

Went to see Maleficent last night at the Dine-in theater in Downtown Disney. Loved it! I have a special place in my heart for villans, and Maleficent in particular (I even have a pretty large Maleficent tattoo,) so I was really looking forward to it. I have to say - Angelina Jolie was SPECTACULAR as the titular villan . I won't spoil things for anyone - but I was just LOVING the scenes at the Christening (it is in the Trailer.) She was just deliciously wicked.

What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?
jynx242 replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It is usually found around tourist trap areas like Pigeon Forge or I-Drive. The seats on either end of the arm rotate 360 degrees freely as it swings around. You often end up flying at the ground head first then flipping over on the way back to the top. -
You know - I remember being much younger and waiting for Ninja at SFoG. If you have never seen it in action, you should see how the entire break run moves from side to side as the train approaches it. It was kind of freaky to me - but didn't stop me from riding it. 20 years later - it is still banging and bruising people safely and securely. What I'm getting at is that it must have been a slow news week in Kentucky - this too shall pass I remember Deluge as being an absolute blast and know that it will still be a huge hit with the water park when it opens.

What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?

Insanity and X-Scream are two that make my breath short just looking at them. They are on the won't do list for me (which is very very short.) Skyscrapers scare the crap out of me, but I love them anyway. Falcons Fury - just looking at it makes my heart flutter - but I cannot wait to ride it! -
I've ridden it a few times now, and have FP+ to do it again this evening. Here's my thoughts....I've ridden it a few times now and have FP+. I wouldn't have ridden it multiple times, and have a FastPass reservation if it wasn't a great ride. It is a LOT of fun, the animatronics are top-notch, the level of detail in the queue and the ride are amazing and it is a LOT of fun We took our friends and their 6 year old daughter to the park with us this past weekend and she was GAGA over this ride (it is her new favorite - and to note, she rode Space and Splash Mountains for her first time this same weekend.) That, right there, puts it in a WIN category for Disney.

7 Dwarves Mine Train at WDW. SO much fun. -
If you want to stay right around six flags there are several places. There is a Wingate right beside the parking lot. It usually cost the most out of all the hotels around but is the nicest. I personally stay at the super 8. Nothing fancy about it, its old, but its quite and clean. It is also within walking distance but I have parking passes. You can get a room online for about $52 a night with codes. This weekend, that's what mine cost. If you booked in the hotel though they where charging $75/room. I have stayed there 3 times and its been quite and clean all times. Just a place to sleep just book online. There is also an econolodge (pretty bad I have tried it once) and I believe a sleep inn right beside the park with the super 8 and Wingate. Never tried the sleep inn BC I haven't ran into any problems with the super 8 yet. I stayed at the Wingate with friends and it is the closest and nicest but close to $100/night last time I checked. Still nothing fancy! I have found that in the evening the park is dead. I usually do a Friday or Saturday evening, one full day, and a morning. Sundays are usually the least crowded. Don't buy a flash pass until you see what the lines are like. If you read up about my trip this weekend I never waited more than 10 minutes for anything except to get into the park!! Haha Thanks! The Super 8 sounds like a good option for us. We'll probably end up going on a weekday due to our vacation schedule, but if we can work a Sunday into there, I'll definitely try. If it's dead in the evening that's good. I'd love to walk on a few night rides on Mindbender and Goliath. A few more questions; 1. Did Goliath ever get seatbelts? And if it did, how are they? 2. How good is Dare Devil Dive with larger riders? I fit into El Loco at Adventuredome pretty recently, should I be fine on DDD? I thought they were similar. And does DDD have seatbelts? 3. Would it be socially acceptable to wear a giant lime green Domo suit to the park? Is a Giant Lime Green Domo suit EVER socially unacceptable?? You should be fine

Good for you!!

^ and ^^ I've always had a special place in my black and bitter heart for the villans and Maleficent has always been my favorite! I figured I'd get the tat before the new movie came out so I could be a "Maleficent Hipster" and tell people I liked her before it was cool .

^ Hades has always been pretty "agressive" to me. My first rides were in 2007 and it wasn''t as rough back then, but still pretty brutal. When we went back in 2011 it was just aweful. One ride and i was done. -

And THIS is why you are awesome Bobby ^ You are certainly welcome!

Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread

Had to comment. Cyclone Sam's was really one of the great suprises at Worlds of Fun for me. I was there with TPR in 2010 and it was so hot that people in Hell were making fun of us. We had a great time regardless, but my group rode Cyclone Sam's three or four times - just for the Air conditioning, breeze and general awesomeness of it!! -
^ I'd agree on the dancing too. Nowadays I get exhausted just thinking of how I used to dance my A$$ off at the clubs. I even did a stint as a go-go boy back in the early 90's.
