I haven't been into the bar scene in AGES. I've been in recovery for the past 8 1/2 years, so that has a little to do with it - but mostly, I just don't find them as enjoyable as I used to. Now don't get me wrong - I do love me a good drag show . We usually go to the Parliament House (P-House) down here in Orlando during Gay Days though. It is always a huge party and there is plenty to see and do besides getting drunk (which plenty of people do as well!) ^^and I have no idea why you are single sir. I've met you and you are good looking, smart, and not a drunk ! That puts you ahead of 80-90% of the guys in a bar! You're a catch!!

^ Either a re-do or just a Topper-Track treatment. The thing that struck me about The Boss is that it "should" have been amazing. It has a pretty interesting layout; however, the G-Trains suck and I thought to myself after riding, "my chiropractor LOVED that." -

If I lived in the area, I would totally have met you . Unfortunately - it is kind of a haul from Central Florida. -
^ LOL - I am pretty sure when we say "If you don't like Kumba, you are doing it wrong" we are joking around (at least I am.) The animals at BGT really make it stand out for me. Tigers, Monkeys, Apes, Hippo's, Rhino's, Hyena, Otters, Elephants, etc... are just cool (not to mention the Cheetah's which are awesome.) Also, two of my favorite things there are the Lorikeets (which I think they have at BGW) and the Kangaroo's / Wallabee's. I always end up with about 5 Lorikeet's landing on me to eat, and I love love love feeding and petting the Kangaroo's.

^OMG - I just remembered that. Nick is like the "son I never wanted " David -
It is definitely a matter of taste. I prefer the relentless speed and quick transitions of Kumba over the others you mentioned (although I think they are all pretty great as well ) I also think Falcon's Fury might suprise you. I think the height and the tilt forward are going to be freaking awesome - but time will certainly tell. I know I will be there for passholder previews, whenever that happens though. D.

Hi Kevin - been binge reading your reports and loving them. You just strike me as a super great guy and it would be great to hang out at a park sometime. Anyhow - I think you are spot-on with your assessment of SFStL - the staff made it a great park! When I was there (also with TPR, but in 2010) it was SUPER FREAKING HOT, so I didn't get to do quite as much as I usually would since people in Hell were making fun of us that day. Side notes: City Museum is one of the coolest places EVER Please tell me you had Cinnamon Bread at Silver Dollar City. Food of the gods there. David -
Thanks for the trip report Divv - it is great as always!

Read the last few pages and was wondering when we became so pissy?? Seriously - A park that has El-Toro, Nitro, Ka, the Tallest Drop Tower in the world - and we are complaining that two weeks into a season -trains are stacking?? Really? Yeah - the locker policy sucks - we beat the crap out of that dead horse years ago As far as us deciding how to have Six Flags make the BRAND NEW teams more efficient - lets back up for a second. All of us know - the area around the first Entrance to a ride is always a MESS. The person standing there cannot possibly measure every kid and check every person for bags while they are also answering 100's of questions about the ride. The people in the station have to be the 2nd set of eyes - period. Unfortunately - some people find it necessary to bring the entire contents of their house with them to an amusement park - and decide that they can just take their luggage on any ride they want . Although we know better - the General Public isn't as queued-in as we are. Just thought I'd mention these things - this thread has gotten a little "dark." P.S. - does me bitching about us bitching qualify this post as META?? And thanks to Ryan for responding to everyones suggestions and questions. It is nice to hear the behind the scenes information. This post was meant to bring up a point in a sarcastic manner - so please take it as such. Ta D.

AWESOME!! I watched Edge of Seventeen two weeks ago when I was getting my new tattoo and GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS is one of the funniest movies to me! I actually bought it.

Rode Gwazi again a few weeks ago. It has gone from rough to absolutely Brutal!! Others worth mentioning: Son of Beast Wildcat at Compounce Rough, but I like them: Voyage Cyclone (the original) Georgia Cyclone

I think we do change peoples opinions on a daily basis without knowing it. By being out (not SCREAMING IN YOUR FACE OUT, but just "out") and going about your life like anyone else - people who have those crazy pre-conceived notions of what gay people are like see that we are pretty much like other people. I know being from Georgia and being in Central Florida now - I meet people daily who have little to no experience with gay people. Just being a decent human being can work wonders for any type of people
