  1. Damn - where has everyone been??!! ^Well - Gay Days at the P-House really isn't a pride event as much as a huge party, and adding a trip to IOA would cover the coaster necessity. Just sayin'
  2. Some really great people are signing up for this! I hope I have time to Hug and chat with everyone!
  3. ^ LOL - thanks for that. Now I am picturing "KettleKorn-heads" and "KettleKorn-junkies" waiting to get their fix. I can't wait to get to this park this summer and finally ride Skyrush!! I am so very excited.
  4. Although I love it - The Magic Kingdom comes to mind. Drive to Walt Disney World - park - take a tram to the transportation center - either take a ferry or the Monorail to get to the actual park. I've learned to get to the park in plenty of time before my fast pass - because I always mis-calculate how long it takes to get from the parking lot to the park
  5. Question - I keep hearing that Mean Streak has a similar layout to the Original Texas Giant. Did it used to be a great coaster. I rode Old Texas Giant when it was new - and it was a fantastic ride. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that Mean Streak was EVER fantastic. Just curious. D.
  6. I had forgotten that the wave pool was shaped like Texas. I love it!
  7. That would be awesome! It would be great to see you again.
  8. ^ That is good to hear. This TR had me smiling and humming the Twilight Zone theme to mysef
  9. Okay - here are some of the pictures from Gay Days at the Parliament House in Orlando Florida. Hope you guys enjoy! This is the pool stage from a balcony, before it got too crowded. I love the lights, lasers and fog machines This is one of the "dance floors" next to the pool. Really, the whole resort is kind of a dance floor - there is a fairly big dance club inside, along with a theater bar, a video bar and a Bear bar. This was from ground level when things really started jumping. The guys on stilts had angel wings on - and were pretty hot And it was psychotic but really fun when Mya performed on Friday night! This is what was offered lakeside - behind the hotel. Lots of great stuff I love Drag Queens - and this one did a pretty fair Lady GaGA LeeAnn Rimes having a blast. She was so much fun. I don't think her manager (or she) ever imagined she would be on stage with 4 drag queens and 2 go-go boys.
  10. Nicole - yes, we get to see each other this year! And you get to meet Charles, who already chats with you on Facebook DAVE - my Fag Stag! Can't wait to see you and the bat!!!!!!!!! D.
  11. Tickets purchased and hotel room being booked! We decided to "pre-game" the Mini East Coast Trip with this and a trip to Cedar Point!!! Can't wait!
  12. ^It was fun and insane this weekend. I'll post some pics from the events for you guys here. The big suprise for me was Leann Rimes. She did GREAT and you could tell she was having the time of her life. I doubt if she EVER thought that in her career, she would be on stage with male go-go dancers and Drag Queens. david
  13. That is Manta at Sea World Orlando And this is why I like you
  14. That is pretty damned amazing! Thank you for posting. The attention to detail looks pretty outstanding. David
  15. LOL - true that! I don't know that I will be going to the parks, but I will probably go to the Parliament House during the evening to watch the revelry. It is always a complete and utter trip - plus there is always a ton of eye candy
  16. Thanks for this Chad! What a thourough and interesting report. I think the park looks GREAT and am so happy that they have managed to do what they have done. I really look forward to seeing where they take the park moving forward!
  17. Thanks for the report! I don't get the Angry Birds land - but at least they tried, right?? That sandwich looked Delicious - and now I am hungry David
  18. ^ I know how you feel So, on another (happier) note - are any of you peeps coming down to my neck of the woods (Orlando) for Gay Days?? D.
  19. The area has definitely changed from the souvenier stands and tourist traps of the past. I am really looking forward to seeing this progress, because it could potentially be very good for the city. Also - can you imagine an outer-banked turn or hang-time at over 400ft in the air??? This thing doesn't have to be fast to be terrifying. David
  20. Thanks for the updates! I'll have to get over there this weekend and check it all out!! The new theater is amazing looking and I can't wait to see the show. D
  21. Cyclone is what I like to call "Awesomely Brutal." I've learned that I prefer to sit towards the front of the train and try to avoid wheel seats if possible. I know that my back seat ride a few years ago definitely re-invented my spine (I think I'm an inch shorter now .) I still rode it again though. D
  22. It will be cool to watch this progress, since I pass it on the way to Sea World
  23. Newest guilty pleasure for me is "Vampire Diaries." I hate myself for loving it so much - binge watching it now
  24. ^I agree!! What an awesome episode. Tyrion is still my favorite character - but Lord Baelish is also pretty awesome.
