I'm not a Spears fan at all (never was), enjoyed the episode better than the season opener, and look forward to "Religion," next ep.

Wow. Wow. omg. Wow. That was an amazing photo shoot you did of the U2 concert! And it showed me how very long I haven't been to a live concert of anybody's in a long, long time Still - quite the set (where's the band, ha ha) - and the lighting and effects! Amazing. I think my last one was a Bowie concert - the Glass Spider Tour in 19-- ...? (eep) Thanks for sharing all this. (The U2 shoot made me totally forget your great photo 'tour' of the DLP hotel!)

Heather Morris (a/k/a Britt) is truly awesome.

"Fancy." Miss you, Piers. -
I am staying up way too late, a lot of the time, now. Being retired helps, for sleeping in and all. But still....

Congratulations! Great show to get to produce. IMhO. Which also reminds me... I miss Judy Kuhn. What has she been up to lately? Anybody know? I did get her cd of Laura Nyro covers, which was great. And I still have my prized cd of her in the only production of METROPOLIS, I know of. And LA 'Sunset Blvd.' And 'Chess' too, lol.

Some parks are not worth showing favortism to - even if they are right in your own back yard. In my humble opinion. And I am living near a home park, I wouldn't even consider voting much about. Sorry Playland. Except the wood coaster. -

Awwwwwwww. The actual commercial there at the end of it (I assume?), looked great -
^ Mike, it's a 40+ minutes condensed version (if that) of "Wicked", and although it was well done, it definitely should not be put up against the full-out production of the musical. And - I think for what it was worth, two hours' of park time was invested in seeing it. At least. That's lining up to get in and find seating, and waiting for it to start, and then leaving the theatre after it ends, etc. I enjoyed what I saw and heard, having never seen anything of it actually on a stage before. The two female leads were great, they mixed the japanese and english translations onstage and on (a)screen fairly well, from what you could follow of it. Numbers done were "The Wizard and I", "Popular," "One Short Day," "For Good," from what I remember, which is actually a good number of them, considering it was under an hour, heh heh. I enjoyed it for what it was. And hit the nearby OZ gift shop for a souvenir programme of the actual show, and t-shirts, LOL. But I was able to see it, AND take in and ride everything else that the park had, and eat and shop, and take in the nighttime show on the "central waterway" that the park surrounds. But once was enough for me, seeing the show. I am planning to skip it on the tour's visit next summer. But I still might pick up another shirt.

I think this on-ride photo helps sum up my take on this nifty fire engine red go-getting coaster, called iSpeed. Yes, a bit of flat, but also the high hat, a twist in the middle, and a bit of a surprise down drop near the end of it... I liked it. A lot. And I'm pretty sure that Jon (beside me in back there) and "Mr.Starrrs" (front of me, beside Robb) agreed with me, heh heh. I just wish i'd bought the t-shirt, now. Woo hoo! It was (to me) a lotta fast fun and speed back and forth. Great for smaller parks too, I'd say. -
^ So - like wooden and steelies - have you kept a 'count' on your plays and musicals that you've been a part of? I know I did a lot more musicals than plays, no matter what part of my then "theatre life" I was in, hardly at school, some at city college, or mostly on my own, through amateur and professional production. But I have never actually counted 'em up, heh heh. (EDIT: And MERDE! How did the opening night go?)

Had good, medical healing event happen yesterday that had (given me) taken a lot of crap to adjust to, since April AND during the recently-past TPR UK/Europe Tours. But now we're hoping, all's well and everything is healing up just fine. So good to be feeling like myself - and slightly more energized then of late.
-
That's the (then) exact number of coasters I had eventually figured out, that I had ridden in my 53 years, before I took my first TPR tour (UK - 2006 - yes!) with Robb and Elissa. Before the awesome KidTums "entered" the coaster scene, the following year in Japan, and started her dizzying climb of coastering the world over. Impressive and wierd, at the same time, to find this out, lol.

Am listening to an opera being sung in-concert on the radio... And wondering what they're actually singing to each other - don't know German that well.
-
Totally agree, especially with that "unexpected option" of a bit more "story" to the ride. Was going to add this one, but you already did. Great!

A raspberry Fizzie tastes okay in an instant pear Crystal Lite drink. Hmm.

^ You look like The One-Who-Has-The-Best Posture in that number, hee hee. And you look like you enjoyed your evening (in the second pic) with friends and co-artists. And.... The TOGGLE Awards???
